Nice job, that table looks great!
ОтветитьIs that a newer or older DF 500 domino? I just noticed your height-stop is green. Mine is black. I've had mine for a while and am just now noticing. Nice build, great video! Keep it up!
ОтветитьGreat looking table! Thanks for showing us the details.
ОтветитьSolid video. I really like the format. Sorta brings back memories watching New Yankee Workshop.
ОтветитьGreat video again Mike. And a good looking table you build there. I really like what you're doing and your channel. Loads to learn but aiming to be at that level at some point
ОтветитьHi Mike, I never knew about the water and iron trick! I will have to try that on my desk as I put a couple of small dents in it by accident. Maybe they will pop back out. Great video!
ОтветитьCould you have not just cut the finished legs out on the CNC?
ОтветитьAwesome project man, congratulations.
ОтветитьA work of art!!!
Ответитьgreat video! love the technical explanations in between clips
ОтветитьWill you be able to use that 7th board in something else (cut down to a small size)?
ОтветитьCould you comment on the finish? Applying it with the sander is genius!
ОтветитьWould you have considered using the Domino for the joints that were cut with the Pantorouter?
ОтветитьGreat song choice! I really appreciate that and your work of course too. ;)
ОтветитьIt's Jason's mentor! Although, 1m+ vs 27k in same amount of time. What is different?
ОтветитьGreat table..what is the wood species you used ..thanks
ОтветитьNice build!
ОтветитьThat adjustable L fence is awesome, I think I’ll have to make one!
ОтветитьBeautiful table! Thank you for sharing. When I first saw it before starting to watch I thought bridle joints.
I also love your shop
I hate to make what could be perceived as a negative comment, but I have a hard time believing someone paid $6000 for that table. I'm not saying it's not a quality piece but as someone who's built furniture and cabinets for over 25 years, that just seems far fetched. What am I missing?
ОтветитьBeautiful build! I likely missed it, but what is the finish you used?
ОтветитьGorgeous. Now I just need a table saw, mitre saw, jointer, planer, panarouter, handheld router, Festool domino, CNC machine, router table, Festool random orbital sander, buffer, and I’m set.
Ответитьhow come you never use the clamex connecters
ОтветитьI’m a hand tool only guy, and it would take me days/weeks just to prep the stock for that table.
ОтветитьMike you freaking killed it as usual! I felt like I was watching a clip from HGTV or Magnolia. Between the woodworking, the transitions, clips, b-roll, your speaking and the music choice. This was very well put together. Inspired me forsure
ОтветитьNice table, great video!
Since you have mentioned in the title I hope you don't mind if I'm asking about that $6K. Please believe me it comes from pure curiosity.
While this is a really nice piece it couldn't really be any more simple, very straight forward, no tricky joinery no wild angles... Well you have finished it in two days. I'm no expert of the USA timber prices, here I could buy this amount/quality for $3-500 tops. I don't count the glue and the fittings, however that finish (rubio?) could cost some bucks, still I believe we're way under $1K in material. if you add $1000/day for labor (nice!) we're still at the half of that price you mentioned.
How could you sell a nice but really simple average sized table that made of some ordinary wood (oak?) for that lot of money?
Sorry if I was too straight forward, I really just would like to see it.
Out of curiosity.. do also make the chairs for such a table or do the clients find their own?
ОтветитьMike, I'd like to know where you got that roller that appears intended for pressing down auto sound-deadening material but makes a dandy glue roller with that eccentric groove pattern.
I'm not a fan of "20th century modern", but that table has to be an exception. Beautiful!
Like your video as informative, clear, and void of the pretentiousness that seems prevalent in many woodworking videos of late. Keep up the good work. +1 subscriber.
Ответить6000$ that’s insane
ОтветитьMike- Just awesome! You are living the dream! Congratulations.
ОтветитьSuch a beautiful creation. What species of timber/lumber/wood was used in the manufacture
Ответитьhow can i get templates lime that for tabe legs
ОтветитьThat grain reveal! Really nice build and great video! I want to build a table for our television. It won’t be this nice but I really liked this video.
Ответить6K hahahah..someone got scammed.
ОтветитьNice table. The $6k part in the header? Are you telling us, that you sold that table for $6000.00? WOW!
ОтветитьGreat build. I’m now a subscriber. Keep it up.
ОтветитьTwo days if you got all them fancy tools 😂😉🙏🏽 dude has some skills tho big up’s to him ! Only wish to have a workshop like that ! Maybe one day
ОтветитьGreat build. are you planning on doing plans for this table? Thanks
Ответить6k lmao nice scam
ОтветитьYou made the mortise so big that the walls are weak. If someone kicked the table leg it would break through the top of the mortise.
ОтветитьI'm actually curious about the filler you use for knots and defects. I use either epoxy or CA glue (for small holes), but have been looking for alternatives. Great table design by the way!
ОтветитьIf one doesn’t own a panarouter, would using the domino be your next best alternative?
ОтветитьNew to your channel. Loved the video. The process, the instruction, and the ability to deliver it all in ~15 minutes. Can't tell you how enjoyable that made it. Most of these that are 30-60 minutes can be mostly for the maker not the audience. Well done.
ОтветитьVery nice design and build; well done. I have a Laguna 18BX and couldn't help but notice that your fence is quite different to mine which I recently bought. I think yours is a far superior design to the current iteration. Damn.
ОтветитьGreat video! I'm hoping to leave the IT world behind one day and transition into woodworking. What finish was used? It looks really nice and I'm sorry if this was asked and answered before. Subscribed.
ОтветитьIs that Walnut?
ОтветитьThe thing about the pantorouter and tenons, you have to test-fit while it's still clamped and sneak up on the right width while moving the guide bearing down the template bevel.
ОтветитьYou make it look so easy. Love the story telling
