He choked another man to death on a moving train car while other people stood there and filmed it. I hope no one sees that as anything other than sickness, and if you do I pray you don’t have a badge or gun.

He needs to go to prison. Vigilantism cannot be allowed. He acted as the judge, jury and executioner. That's not how any of this works.

You can't be serious. I thought they let him go because it was abundantly clear he was only acting in self defense for him and for everybody on that subway. NYC is an absolute joke. You have someone who is a trained Marine and knows the difference between a " Tracheal " and " Carotid " chokehold. A Marine would also be trained to know that after 10 seconds the hold should be released because now you're doing permanent damage and can cause asphyxiation which will lead to death.

He’s guilty. He overreacted, at very least. His victim was mouthing off. He had no weapon! If he threatened anybody, the locals knew he was harmless. The COPS knew he was harmless as well. His performance was just another day in NYC.

This Marine was an outsider, who didn’t know the score. His victim was well known, and tolerated, and this guy just up and killed him! This is why we are not permitted to take the law into our own hands. He deserves 10-20 solid years in prison for manslaughter.

I’d give him early release if his victim springs back to life.
