LEGO Marvel Cerebro (X-Mansion Promo) Set Review

Looks x cellet set and promo day 1 of future for me

It’s not the greatest promo but yet it’s still making me buy the mansion day 1 when I really didn’t want to.

I’m hoping we can get some more actual sets from the films. I’d love a Statue of Liberty battle set.

To think people can just make their own Professor x figs using these parts and sell them too

whats even the point of this? the build doesnt attach to the x mansion, theres no green proffesor x, its litterlly just a floating platform and lex luthor in a wheel chair

Wait so if I buy the mansion on Lego online, will I get this or are GWPs only in store?

It seems like just a small display set you could pop on a shelf, that’s why they did the 2x4 printed Cerebro.

I want a sentinel mech vs jubilee set

On my own part, I love that I used the Mr.Burns torso and legs with the correct head to make my custom proffesor X. I also used Jake Sully's yellow wheel chair

I agree, I wish this was built to be an additional attachment to the mansion. I think the danger room could’ve also been a separate attachable set as well. That way it could be bigger and come with more characters. I think Jubilee being a mini-figure here was a big missed opportunity, especially since she’s clearly referenced. I also saw some say this could’ve included Emma Frost, another popular Xmen character that can use cerebro. Though we haven’t seen her use it or be on the Xmen team in the movies, is this even really a movie set?? She could’ve worked in this as well. This set honestly feels very rushed.

This could have been made so much better with a custom moulded Cerebro helmet or a Jubilee minifigure

It is a shame there is no piece of art of even the back of the box showing how cool the machine looked in the original X-men movie, like have something to have some hidden characters showing him using the machine to find all of the other missing figures ie mutants around the world

The wheel chair came out in 2016 fun at the park actually. Wish we still got those fun at sets tho you can only do so many fun city spots I guess

isn't this what we have been asking for though? Something extra for day 1 buyers that isn't fomo inducing for the rest. I don't think it's up to a gwp to correct a blunder the actual set made in this case being Charles' suit.

I think this is great actually, looks like perfect shelf or desk display piece. Plus it’s free so that’s always a plus. I also don’t think the cerebrospinal piece is a waste as to me anyways it adds to the display. Also reason they call them marvel studious is because marvel has the x men back under the fold by now so I wander legally they have to say marvel studios since retro actively marvel owns the characters now? Just my thoughts

Holy crap...sets that add Figures and different classes would be so cool. I don't want to pay crazy prices but that's such a neat idea.

big x men fan - the mansion is one of the few sets I plan to buy next year, but this promo is total trash. Even the cerebro brick is terrible, and the professor X minifigure is inexcusable - the one thing it has going for it is the transparent piece of Jubilee

Lego have messed it up big time with these character ideas. What would have made me think this was worth it was a movie accurate Logan with professor X. Even then, the fact we have 2 Charles’ and none of them have a green suit is ridiculous.

Such a wasted bonus set. Redundant Minifigure and half baked set that doesn't connect to the main one. NO desire to get one

Tbh I'm glad there's no exclusive green suit for Professor X. It would be pretty unfair if a superior and more accurate version came in a set only few can get

Lameeee should have been something you can add to the mansion. Like the taxi that came with the avengers tower. Maybe beast working on a sentinel head? Or cyclops in sunglasses in a sports car. Somethingggg usefullol

I’d honestly much prefer if this was a separate set you could buy on its own, having to buy the mansion (which you may not have the space or money to afford) is a blockade to what’s a rather simple way to represent X-Men on your shelf; it could also act as a gateway for new Lego fans.

why are his arms white? Isn't he supposed to be wearing a suit jacket? That is disappointing. This GWP could have been so much more. I want the mansion but I am not running out to get this as it is a bit underwhelming. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Watch them run out even when I order it the morning the X-Mansion releases... same thing happened with the Avengers Tower GWP and all I could get were some Insiders Points as compensation when I reached out to customer service. It was a bit disappointing.

Maybe someday we will get a proper Jubilee. 😔

Fox as a movie studio doesn’t exist anymore. The X-men films are property of Marvel Studios as much as Alien is a property of Disney now. It’s semantical, but technically true.

hey Ash, yellow sets does not eat part budget. These pieces are not replaceable, meaning they do not eat any capacity, these are manualy packed, a printed differently.

I think that print might’ve been better spent - practically - in a Charles face print with closed eyes. He closes his eyes when he uses Cerebro and often his powers, so it would be a cool bonus. Plus, they really should’ve included the helmet somehow. Honestly, just the exact pieces they used for it in the Mansion, with the cable attached to a jumper plate behind the screen or something. I’d genuinely be pretty satisfied with this set as a GWP if that was all that changed.

i agree would be soo cool if we got jubliee in this promo, still went out to buy it cause I see it as more bricks for the bocks since my nearest physical store wont have it until January (crazy if u ask me) but atleast you get "Books with passion" as a gwp so u can use it to make the classroom bigger, or for Charles and Magnus to play chess :3

as a side note guess alot of ppl will be using the QR kode for the survey to complain, hopefully that will work.
