Useful yes, but I always like to go from 124 to somewhere around 81.5/82 (nice Dubby sound) and then go to (melodic Drum&Bass)173. You can also go back to 124 if you do it the other way around. No Sinc needed if you time it right. Just good music.

i use sync for purpose of not sliding the tempo fader all the time, i click sync to sync bpm and click again to not be in sync, it saves alot of time actually to focus on mixing, occasionaly i click it if i do 3 to 4 deck transitions and i need to pay attention to mixer, yeah mixing 178bpm dnb is not so creative but time challenging)
