Redcat Scout II - 1/18 Scale - New Wheels & Tires...I lied!

I love the new logo and intro. Did you try the AI generator to get it? It's pretty cool. You can tell it you want your logo with race cars in the background or gears. And it will create something if you don't like it. You can ask it to do it again and it will try again. You can have whatever you can think of mixed with it, and it will come up with some pretty cool stuff. I love that little scout as soon as I get caught back up. I'm gonna just pick one up hopefully.

It always depends on the body but I think I prefer the wheels and tires to be tucked in the wheel wells on this one. I got the Redcat Scout for Christmas. Video will be out tomorrow. Thats another great thing about this hobby. You can find whatever you want to make any RC your own. You'll have to try your block obstacle again. The stock tires performed very well. I wonder if these will do the same. I like the hand.

Just got mine the other day I switched the top of the shocks into the last hole. I am waiting on some brass parts. Yeah I can’t leave. Nothing alone either.😁👍👍

Looks really good I like it, I’ve got lots of options for rims and tires, just waiting on my brass mostly the front appreciate you sharing. I also got the green love the metal flake in it. Well, I watch for the next one until then, peace and chicken grease😁👍👍👋👋😎

Looking at some old scout pics they came with a type of wheel that come stock on the redcat scout.

Looks better.I have a set of white Injora steelie wheels with brass rings also with proline Baja pro x tires and they are a 58mm tall tire and a tad wider than stock and Injora front brass portals and brass diff covers.Stock was fine for trailing but I also like a little more stability when crawling the rocks.With the mild mods I’ve done it’s much more planted now.I already had the wheels and tire laying around from my old collection.I did order a new set of the stock tires from redcat to mount on the white steelies because I do like the stock tire and they work great.

Those wheels look way better.🔥In my opinion I hated the stock wheels but loved the body and rest of this vehicle.
Spent all day yesterday debating getting one of these.
But FMS drew me in with their sale on their website, so I ordered 3 of their vehicles( K5 blazer,K10 truck and the LC80). Sucky part is even some colors don't ship to Canada? Not sure if that is a warehouse issue?
Anyhow. Now that you changed the wheels on the vehicle that you said you would not change 😉 I really want one more now. And thinking of how to explain another RC purchase to my wife. 😅😅
