Bullshit! I have two pipes which are underground that need joining, how on Earth do I just pull one pipe up to make the joint when both ends have 30m of dirt on top of them? You even intimate that this is an underground fix by having a patch of dirt in the video. How about show a proper, in the field, fix of a ruptured pipe that needs re joining.

what about the urban class for use in cities.

They don't make this type of fitting in 2024 and using what you get now during hot weather the pipe expands so it will shrink in cold causing leaks.

Terrible guide.First a little lubricant on the red end saves damaging the O ring ,second rubbing a little soap or other lube on the thread meams it will pull up much tighter an less inclined to rotate with the collar which ultimately ends up with a much looser grip on the poly .Before I started using this trick i had regular blow offs despite using LOTS of force on the wrench to tighten them.(And no leaks from damaged O rings )
