Europeans migrated out of their countires to other parts of the world when they were in war, poverty and crisis. Why don't they have sympathy and understanding when we want to migrate to Europe because of the same problems now.

Very interesting vid about migration of germans. I myself worked on this topic through several countries becose (after I rebuilt my mother genealogical tree) of my german... alemanic switz... Abd tirolian ancestors.
They moved everywhere since 16th c. All-over the world. Fascinating trip through history.. . Cultures... Dialects... Etc. I found them in holland.. Tchekoslovaquia.. hungaria...russia (even far east siberia) .. South east asia and china (!)... But most of them in norh america (Usa ohio pennsylvania indiana) and west canada.
Germanic families always remain germans. I was surprised when I proposed to be a translater during a meeting between american descendants coming from ohio or B.C (ossoyos valley, on US/Canadian border) and I discovered that after almost 3 centuries... They always spoke the dialect of their ancestors.
Same as yurs... In brazil.
And for sure they still are celebrating their "culture"... Architecture and craft skills or agricultural knowledges.
For sure building a church... and a school... A library are and a great mall for cultural rallies the very first goals they always achieved to gather their community. Then hospital and "apotheke" siences.
Tks for this vid...

GERMAN IMMIGRANTS MADE A HUGE CONTRIBUTION OF SWEAT A ND TEARS INTO A JUNGLE THAT HAD NO AGRICULTURE, NO CONSTRUCTION NO TRANSPORT NO WATER AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT. NO TRADE OF GOODS. THEY ENDURED ALSO DISCRIMINATION BY THE NATIVES WHO HATED HAVING TO DEPEND ON THEM. THIS IS A STORY THAT REPEATS ITSELF THRU OUT SOUTH AMERICA. THE GOVERNMENTS OF EACH PERIOD OF TIME LIED TO THE IMMIGRANTS AND FORCED THEM TO BECOME SELF RELIANT. THE MEMORY IS LOOOOOONG!

I have Portuguese origins, from Guimarães, Spanish, from Trevelez, Italian, from Vedelago and Monfalcone, and Austrian, from Gorz, and I am therefore a genuinely Brazilian product. Now, from an environmental point of view, it was the worst misfortune for Brazil when white Europeans came here. The logic of cutting down the forest and dirtying the environment, in addition to never getting rid of real illiteracy, is the great legacy of our agricultural elite...😢😢😢

As a Brazilian, I despise the systematic invasion and destruction of our land, resources and people by Europe and the USA. The Southern region of Brazil is where most of these European invaders chose to settle, which is probably why they were hit with the flooding. What goes around comes around...

it's good that Britain and Spain colonized much of the world, not the Germans. If Germany had colonized Africa, Asia, and Latin America, the population of the world would be half of what it is now.

All the German immigrants were given land. And the people of african descent was given what????
We were slave for over 300 years and at the end of it we got. Nothing no compensation no reparation.....
And this was true throughout the Caribbean, the America's..... And then the world turned to says why are you poor....
You give the Jews repreation. What the biggest atrocity that ever done to human was done to black people.
And also the indigenous people of the Americas. And the Caribbean. You apocrates, you all talk about holocaust. What no one talk about the holocaust that was done to the negative people of the Americas. And the Caribbean. I am absolutely discussed with you, Europeans. Europeans are responsible for the biggest atrocities on the face of the Earth.
And it is still a happening today in the caribbean and also in the middle east with the palestinians

Although its a minority, maybe the only brazilians who think they are better than others are those from the south. It's hard to tell if this "heritage preservation" is really a good thing. I'd rather go for the brazilian tradition of erasing those heritages and begin a new life, simply as a brazilian. We don't need no hyphens.

If my fellow Germans would just get over their weird pathological fear of taking a DNA test, all this searching for family anxiety would go away in an instant. I submitted three tests (Ancestry, MyHeritage and FamilyTree) and now I have connections with literally thousands of family members on four continents. I even discovered direct cousins still living on ancestral land that my family has owned for over 400 years in Westfalia. We had no idea and I wasn't all that far away from them. And yes, I found ancestors who repeatedly traveled to, worked and lived in Brasil. Though in the case of my family, they either returned or relocated to the United States.

They only talked about the good and fun parts, and there really are many of them, but there is something bad in all of this, some (not the majority) immigrant communities that came in the 19th century did not go through the horrors of WWII nor did they study enough about it, so Blumenau, for example, became the place with an epidemic of Nazism and racial supremacy, which stains our country and must be eradicated.
