Bill Cosby used his fame to abuse women. He was deceptive and immoral. It's poetic justice that his lies were uncovered and the real person behind the "wonderful man persona" was exposed for the world to see. He worked so hard to hide his dark secrets from the world. It was important to him that the world see him as a loving father figure who was a noble man. Now he has to live out his last years on this Earth as rapist and a liar. What happens in the dark comes out in the light.

What a shocker this was. Growing up in the 80's during his heyday, the man was everywhere. I never really watched The Cosby Show but Fat Albert I certainly did watch. He had such a good reputation with his Kids Say The Darndest Things. It must have been brutal for the women he preyed on, knowing people would instantly doubt them and judge them for even suggesting such a thing against such a great guy.

here is the real question. would the truth have come out about him if he didn’t dabble his toe into political activism? i haven’t finished watching the video yet. but i remember that nobody cared about the bad things he did until he started saying that the black community should take responsibility for the bad decisions they make. then all of a sudden, everyone knew he was a rapist

i’m not defending him. i’m saying there are probably hundreds of guys like home that get a free pass because their politics are correct.

But my suspicion is that many attention hungry sl¥tty women did things with him back in the day for his attention. For me, there will always be Bill Cosby, and Heathcliff Huxtable, and they are two very different men. I still love The Cosby Show and recently got my wife into it. It's wholesome, it's family-centric, it's hilarious, and heartwarming. Separating the art from the artist is imperative, since it's practically impossible to find any celebrity through history with a squeaky clean (or even mildly tidy) past. Cosby's comedy will always be legendary, but his personal antics have severely damaged that legacy beyond repair.

My spider sense was right on Bill Cosby. I was never a fan of the Cosby show growing up because that squeaky clean image he portrayed just didn't feel realistic to me. To me his standup was just an old man whining on stage and I hated how he treated Eddie Murphy about his style of comedy (who is one my favorite comedians). And he always criticized the black man and talk down on us like he was high and mighty but look at what we know now. Whatever is done in the dark as the old saying says, you know the rest.......

I remember as a child we were watch something on vh1 i think about his life and they said a girl claimed to be his daughter and he offered millions to go away but she took to court and turns with a dna she wasn't his daughter...and i remember my mom said he must've been doing alot dirt for him to offer up millions and not even want a dna test....
