The Quran states in Surah Yunus (10:92-93) that Allah preserved Pharaoh's body as an example for those who come after him, to serve as a lesson and sign of divine power after his drowning.

Surah Yunus (10):

This Surah contains verses 90-92 that describe the story of Pharaoh and his drowning in the sea. 

Verse 92:

"So today We will preserve your corpse so that you may become an example for those who come after you". 

Context:

The verse is a direct address to Pharaoh as he is drowning, after he has rejected the messengers of God and oppressed the Israelites. 

Sign and Lesson:

The preservation of Pharaoh's body serves as a sign of God's power and a lesson for future generations about the consequences of disbelief and oppression. 

Other verses:

Verse 93 mentions that Allah will show the signs of his power and knowledge to those who fear him.

ITs hard to say whose "side" Ramesses II was on. It was clear that he was fighting a war against migration. There are plenty of steles describing disputes between his people and slavers of Babylon (J Y-DNA) and their peoples children being abducted by Ethiopians / Hyksos (E y-DNA). Cities being encamped by migrants leaving Babylon.

Was he the longest reigning because his peoples felt defended by him? Did he use the power of his peoples to grant them a home for as long as possible?

People don't really know who the Hittites were. Most Indo-European forms of R1b found in Anatolia today belong to the R1b-Z2103 subclade, but most people associate Hittite DNA with J2. Implying a BAbylonian population invasion. These were the peoples Ramesses was fighting. So it implies perhaps he was overrun from the lands of his European allies which had already fallen to a massive population of Akkadian invaders.

Or maybe the Europeans held Qadesh longer then those folks want to admit. Since the J-y dna line folks are the ones running the Egyptology programs today spewing propagandas instead of showing the proper interpretations of hieroglyphic steles...which many Europeans of old Egyptian bloodlines can still read.

The description of the Battle of Qadesh describes the Hittites conquering an egyptian camp of Amun.
