So many videos available but this comes out the best. Its simplicity makes it so easy. So can you please do the same for external corners. ThankQ.

ОтветитьThanks...very helpful!
ОтветитьThis is brilliant as I was making such a mess of the coving, pulling what's left of my hair out. Now I've successfully put it up and it works! Thank you so much
ОтветитьExcellent video! Has helped me so much!
ОтветитьI can watch this 1000 times & still goof
ОтветитьWhen you say coving side down, in the mitre block, you mean Ceiling side down, of course
ОтветитьThis, after 10 other attempts to learn internal coving corners, this made sense. Thank you so much, such a simple and methodical approach to getting them right, no witchcraft and no trying to be cleverer than us, just the facts. Coving. Done. 🎉
ОтветитьUsed your method last time I fit coving and it was brilliant. More coving to fit a couple of years later and I'm back again to reboot my steam engine memory! So glad I found it again, top stuff. 👍
ОтветитьAlso… I have a dollshouse to put coving up in! The same rules apply and the same mitre cuts have to be made. I have a mini mitre block and saw so should be able to do that job too now 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьGreat tutorial thank you so much. First time putting coving up for me. Bathroom! Lots of edges as I have to go round the shower cubicle! Wish me luck 🍀
ОтветитьYour video is 6 years old and counting, this is the only explanation on you-tube that I could find that works for me, the way you have explained this makes it easy to understand, thank you.
ОтветитьI spent 2 wasted hours trying to get my head around how to fit coving. Your video saved me much aggravation!! Thank you so much for your well presented explanation!
ОтветитьGood video. I put up coving (exactly the same type as in the video) for the first time this weekend. Was going crazy trying to figure out how to cut it.... This video was a great help. Thank you.
ОтветитьFinally instructions I can understand 🙌
ОтветитьCut it with a bread knife
ОтветитьI’m planning to change the coving. I hundred percent know I’ll be cutting the wrong angles. I’ll save this video to watch over while I’m working.
ОтветитьGreat stuff, you make it seem so simple now :) You might want to say Ceiling side down instead of Coving side down.
ОтветитьBrilliant!!! Thank you- 2+ hours and lots of wafted molding- finally found this video and did the back to o wall idea and placement angles- I did it!!!!! Thanks again my friend !!!!
ОтветитьCheers bro my brain a bit slow but I got it last job I done I just couldn't
ОтветитьThanks for your simple guide for polystyrene coving. What sort of mitre block were you using out of interest? I have a saw bench like yours and attaching the block to the bench will definitely keep the coving and block from moving about as it's being cut.
ОтветитьUse a panel saw,and buy better coving, polystyrene is cheap crap
ОтветитьMine are still not working out! What is the cutting degree? Is it 45 degree angle ? Help please!!!!!!!!
Ответитьtbh this should be retitled "coving for dummies - how to cut internal mitre's without feeling dyslexic"
great video, thank you! the piece of paper helps a lot. brb pen
Great! Just exactly the tutorial I need👍👍👍
ОтветитьThanks, you're is the only video that I have seen that actually explained how to cut it - was doing it flat!
ОтветитьStruggled with this coving malarkey and yours is the only vid that explained it in a way that made total sense :) done the hall stairs and landing with your help. Cheers mukka :) :)
ОтветитьCheers mate, I've been tearing my hair out trying to do this in the past.
ОтветитьYou couldn't of made that anymore complicated
Ответитьcould you do vid on external corners ?
ОтветитьCheers for such an easy tutorial keep them going 👍
ОтветитьThanks so much I used this video for my own coving project
ОтветитьSorry I deleted my last comment by mistake, i was meant to reply. I realise now that the reason why i messed up is because there's 2 types of corner ... external and internal. I was cutting the wrong corner for the internal. i hate coving! Angles are so confusing ha ha
Ответитьthanks - very helpful
ОтветитьThanks mate, had the wife in my ear as I was cutting the wrong angles and using up the coving 😂😂😂 now she knows how to do the next room 🙈 👍
ОтветитьThanks for the video really helped me out. Hunting through loads of videos to try and get my head around sorting out my coving then I found yours 😀 Job done well pleased with the results.
Good job.
Neato! Where did you purchase the polystyrene coving!? I can't find it anywhere!
ОтветитьThank you so much, Craynerd! I've had my first go ever today at cutting and installing coving, and like you, I got my first cuts wrong, it was driving me mad!!! Like you, I've been through a lot of videos and nothing was giving me the right tips until I found this clear and perfect video of yours. I copied the little note you keep next to your mitre box and voilá, no more cuts in the wrong direction or angle! Genius!
ОтветитьGreat advice and demo
ОтветитьWhat do I use to glue it up with ? I have some patching up to do in the coving of my old build new house.
Ответить???!!!
Ответитьgot that thank you, but how to measure and cut for a short piece butting into internal corner, ending in external corner?
Ответить
