Based on the life of comedian Chris Rock, Everybody Hates Chris follows a young Chris as he attempts to survive with his dysfunctional family and his all-white school in the 1980s.

Episode 6: "Everybody Hates Bed-Stuy"
Chris joins the Bed-Stuy Boys & Girls Club, but fitting in proves to be more difficult than he expected.

Episode 7: "Everybody Hates Houseguests" - Chris's grandmother visits, leading to a clash of generational and disciplinary styles between her and Rochelle.

Episode 8: "Everybody Hates Minimum Wage" - Chris takes a job at Doc's store, but balancing work and school puts him in a tough spot.

Episode 9: "Everybody Hates James" - When Chris's classmates find out he has a crush on a girl named James, he's mercilessly teased.

Episode 10: "Everybody Hates Kwanzaa" - Julius insists on celebrating Kwanzaa, but Rochelle prefers her traditional Christmas.

Episode 11: "Everybody Hates Kwanzaa" - Chris attempts to celebrate Kwanzaa, but his family isn't as enthusiastic about the holiday.

Episode 12: "Everybody Hates New Year's Eve" - Chris makes New Year's resolutions, but keeping them turns out to be harder than making them.
