I don't understand why kill an ally. You literally can take his key as a follower and loot all his stuff w/o stealing. If it's just because he wants to then ok I guess.

The Sonic experience

yeah... continuous stream spells like flames, sparks, frost... the number of hits is quite rapid even if the actual damage is super low. probably the best way to play that is by choosing a Breton. lots of alteration leveling for maximum magic resist and absorb. a few enchantments for that final bit. magic immunity is great as everything that's not made of metal or stone is magic... dragon shouts, illnesses, poisons. all tagged under magic damage.

Please if you use SkyUI, you must enable the value/weight ratio column. Especially with survival mode enabled, the game is borderline unplayable without it.

So first heard about this challenge, I thought every point of damage meant one gold lost and he reached zero gold you died. So like your HP would be equal to the amount of gold you have.

I wasn't ready for the title to be literal.

you know the challange is to easy when, while the challange is that he loses gold for every tick of damage he takes, he lets himself get hit by a bunch of poisonous arrows on purpose 😛

after 3000 hours of skyrim, 1 random day, i had as a loading screen the tip that you can disable the health regen of trolls by using fire magic, or any source of fire dmg, and that they are very sensible to it.

No glitches or exploits sure, but just make potions and sell them? Super easy gold. It actually takes longer to sell the potions than it does to make them. I actually have to force myself not to use alchemy if I want to have a "normal" playthrough.

It's been a while since I played Skyrim, but why did he never learn the Ward spell? That's generally one of the better ways to deal with mages, especially the mages who use flames and frostbite. I know there's a shield that works against magic as well, but that's probably quite a bother to get

Can confirm, winter is Skyrim season. Both because Skyrim is cold, and winter is cold. But also because I got it for Christmas and have a short attention span! Winter is for Skyrim, spring is for elden ring, summer is probably going to become shadow of the erdtree season, and fall is for botw. If I get totk it might become a summer game because it’s new and lacks nostalgia-factor for me so I am more likely to try it out during the summer when I’m feeling fun and adventurous. That’s another point for Skyrim being a winter game, it came out when I was quite young so it has had many years to marinate in my psyche and become nostalgic. I imagine this seasonal association with games isn’t just a “me” thing either, and because Skyrim has been so popular for so long it has probably also become a nostalgic game for everyone who got it as a Christmas gift from their parents or siblings or even just after a cyber Monday deal or something.

Great video. About that difficulty bug: I’ve had it happen where the difficulty stays what I chose but it would just revert to novice if I went back to the menu. But then when I installed a bunch of mods it would actually revert back to novice in the gameplay and then needed a patch to fix it.
