Show and Tell questions in the driving test: SHOW QUESTIONS

In the driving test you will be asked two questions - one “show me” and one “tell me”. These are the Show and Tell (show me, tell me) questions.

The “tell” question will take place at the driving test centre and will be a simple safety or vehicle check question for you to answer.

The “show” question will involve you operating one of the car’s ancillary controls whilst you are driving. So here it is important to know where the controls are, and be able to keep safe when you are operating the control - so not drifting out of your lane for example.
