Was uncharted 4 the first (and only) in the series that you guys played? I wanna show my girlfriend uncharted but IDK if she has the patience for 4 games, especially with the first ones graphics starting to get a little dated.

Given your review of this one, I'm kind of surprised you guys haven't done Uncharted Lost Legacy yet.

I remember standing 5 minutes in place after a cutscene transitioned into gameplay in uncharted 3 and I was just baffled how indistinguishable the gameplay looked to the cutscenes.

Yes sure, while I was playing this game during lockdown ,my cousins r not interested in games but they watched me playing and they enjoyed it without playing the game.They enjoyed it very well. And I had great company with them

This video sums up really well what the Uncharted games are to me: I know the events in the story never happened irl, but this beautiful handcraft feels like a memory to me!

My wife loves watching me play the Metro series and Apex Legends and Uncharted. She absolutely hates watching other games where I "fondle my balls" 😂😂 I completely understand what you're saying because my wife is the same way. I get why resource management is boring to watch. Love having her as my backseat gamer so it's cool to see y'all have that same connection.

Have y'all played the first 3 together? I think y'all would enjoy it. At first my girl didn't like uncharted because she said it looks arcady after playing the fourth one but now she says after time she can't remember what 4 looks like so Drake fortune is just as fun to watch

Uncharted is one of my favorite video game series. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy, like a cozy rainy night with a blanket and a good book.

I played uncharted 4 after watching the movie. Now i know why the fans of the game were the biggest haters of the movie.

If u want a blockbuster cinematic experience dont waste money watching the movie, play the game instead

As a backseat gamer myself, this was indeed a really good game to watch. It was like those games that are 99% choosing a dialogue option, but also with awesome gameplay that is actually fun to watch. Also yea nothing worse than all that tedious crap inside menus and whatever. I don't think anything tops it for best backseat gaming experience. The Last of Us is awesome, but it can really drag out... especially depending on the playstyle. Like are they obsessive with checking every square inch of the map for items? probably. How much time are they going to spend reading shit? probably too much time. etc.

I remember when "the bouncer" came out. "Play the action movie" was actually "watch the action game".

I'd been out of gaming for a good 10 years, until I decided to buy a $20 Google Cardboard headset on a whim. I wanted more, and looked for a way to get into the emerging VR platform without having to take out a loan for a fancy gaming PC and Oculus headset(which I bought eventually anyway) I decided to go with the PSVR, which meant I had to buy a PS4. Well, Uncharted 4 came with the console. My first foray into console gaming in a decade was Uncharted 4. I was blown away. It set the bar pretty high though. There isn't much that compares.

I keep coming back to this review, because I have never heard someone so eccentric about a video game story, that gave me the same experience! And it sound so uplifting that it almost give me hope for the future - thank you.

Seeing that kiss between Rey and Kylo literally hurt my soul. I knew there were jokes on the internet about things possibly going in that direction (never saw the last Disney Star Wars movie) but I didn't think they'd actually go there....

On another note, I literally just beat this game and the entire Uncharted franchise for the first time last night and it truly was an above and beyond experience!

I just got the Uncharted 4/Legacy on PC. It's pretty cool but I spent ages trying to climb a ladder and I couldn't get to the top until finally it just skipped that section!

I stopped playing games around 8 years ago but Naughty Dog productions, particularly The Last Of Us and Unchartered, are more engaging for me to watch than most movies.

This and Ghost f Tsushima are the greatest games in my opinion. Played Uncharted 4 10 times and love it to death and beyond... greatest ending to the game series...

Uncharted 4 is my favorite game of all time. Every moment in that experience is so perfectly crafted, and I love the story's themes of family, obsession, passion, and defining success. It's a shame that there aren't more linear AAA games like this.

I had literally the same experience with TLOU

The only video game that my parents watched me play. Not only that, but they were so engaged with the story sometimes they would ask questions to get clarifications on the parts they missed! That’s when you know a video game is a MASTERPIECE!
