Ah the Weisman score 😂😂😂
ОтветитьCan we get this technology on call of duty please
ОтветитьFilename: suckit.mp3
ОтветитьWhat's the difference between increasing the storage space and increasing the compression
ОтветитьNice to see Short Paul found himself a nice little career
ОтветитьGUYS WHAT'S THIS MOVIE OR SERIES ?
ОтветитьPhil Dunphy is a realtor. What is he doing on stage?!
Ответитьi dont know about you guys but on my computer it makes it so you have to read it "I've developed an algorithm that can compress any file to just 12 bytes. The only catch is that you can't decompress the data
ever" because the ever is hidden by read more
Because it’s normal to develop software and be surprised on a live demo.
Ответитьdamn how big is the resolution? 132gbs for 50~ frames?
ОтветитьWho tf says "less than a fourth" it's a quarter mofo, my job is to do this EXACT THING software engineers might have needed to be good at math's to get started, but being good at arithmetic is not a requirement for staying relevant... Normal people say "a quarter"
ОтветитьI mean, compressing "any type of file" without degradation is mathematically impossible. What you can compress though, is a typical file. A typical file has less entropy than a completely random file. The entropy is always the maximum compression you can do.
ОтветитьThis is stupid. The amount of compressibility depends almost entirely on the contents of the file. You could have a terabyte sized file of repetitive content compress down to almost nothing. A file of random noise won't compress at all. No algorithm can change that, it's just math.
ОтветитьThat's what tip-to-tip efficiency gets you
ОтветитьYou can't even read 132GB in the time they had with eSATA or USB3 not to mention compressing it with some complex algorithm.
ОтветитьThat guy does rdr2 rp on twitch
ОтветитьFamous man "It's just half the size I thought it'd be"
ОтветитьThat's some catch
ОтветитьYay! Number go up! 🗿🎉
ОтветитьVideos are notoriously hard to compress losslessly as they are stored as a continuous bitstream
ОтветитьBros never heard of the Shannon source coding theorem lol
ОтветитьBrillint show,horrible horrible ending
ОтветитьWho was the guy that was assassinated who was about to sell his file compression algorithm in I think the 80s?
ОтветитьDunder mifflin is doing real good these days
ОтветитьDunder mifflin is doing real good these days
Ответитьi compressed a file 1000x before but it took much longer than this video.
ОтветитьNothing in the history of tv shows will surpass the "Mean jerk algorithm". Ever. ❤
ОтветитьI never realized this show was just about a better version of handbrake which is open source but quite solid. I compressed four hours of video into a few mb to put in our data room.
ОтветитьShow is called "Silicon Valley"
Ответитьthis is why David Wallace should stick to doing paper with his best Manager
ОтветитьTHATS DAVID WALLACE!
Ответитьwhat nonsense is that...
Ответитьwhy is the acting and writing so bad
ОтветитьNow, I gotta what kind of machine can do compression for a 132gb file in 2 minutes, like it seems to me that it doesn't matter what kind of algorithm you have if the read/write speed of your drive is just slower no?
ОтветитьLoved this show!!
ОтветитьSo, this is how benjamin was before taking a job at pearson hardman as an it guy.
ОтветитьSeems like this is for a fairly niche audience.
ОтветитьI invented a technique that compresses any file to 243 bytes. The only thing is: you trashy need to be careful how to store it because it looks a lot like all the other compressed files.
ОтветитьAs someone who only knew Thomas Middleditch from Jake & Amir, seeing him this softspoken is really odd.
ОтветитьWhats bullshit is they compressed that 132gb file in what looks like 2 minutes on a laptop.
ОтветитьGood to see him doing well even after dunder mifflin
Ответитьdamnit now I wanna rewatch
Ответитьfantasy world
ОтветитьWhat movie is this
ОтветитьI've developed a compression algorithm that can reduce a file to just a single bit. You can only encode two files and the decompression software is slightly larger than the original two files.
ОтветитьD2f
ОтветитьMe locking in before Tim Cook ask me to count the 2160 pixels on his new Retina display💀
ОтветитьEveryone in the audience turned into dwarf leprechauns🍺
Ответитьoh shit that's David! totally missed him the first time
ОтветитьThe story of WinZip?
