After a three-week adventure flying Dawn Patrol for nine days at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, followed by a weekend of flying in Durango, Colorado, it was a refreshing change to come back home and fly in our valley. For our first flight back, we had the pleasure of flying Cheryl and Harry. We launched from across the street from our house, catching a lovely east-to-west breeze along Mt. Graham. It was a beautiful flight over the desert at 15 mph, and as we approached Pima, the winds softened, allowing for a gentle landing. Thank you, Cheryl and Harry, for trusting us to take you on this journey.
