Ответитьall these people saying this is corny just came from twitter😭
Ответитьdumbest fucking song of all time😭
ОтветитьI'm not sure how people don't understand what the song is conveying; it's not about either of them making a "point" or winning an argument, it's about how both of their perspectives are prejudice or ignorant, that's quite literally why both of them say "I'm not racist" after every other line, it's cause the white guy views black people stereotypically and the black guy is blaming any systematic/societal adversity on white people. But neither of them are supposed to be portrayed as "correct", they're both ignorant but also tired of their division and want insight.
I thought that was pretty obviously conveyed... I'm not even someone who listens to rap or analyzes music regularly either.
He did one hell of a job expressing the white pov. But all he had for the black side was fried chicken and bbq. This is not good. Wasn’t then and isn’t now.
ОтветитьCorny as hell
ОтветитьReflecting, ts was not deep. Just a surface level centrist take which doesn’t actually talk about the real problem
ОтветитьStand for this country nice person
ОтветитьYou gon stand for this country FELLA
ОтветитьTheir are two sides to every story i wish i knew yours...hmm words a bigot would never say
Ответитьwhite part: death note s1
black part: death note s2
the reason why white right-leaning people enjoy this song is because it ends in the validation of their racist view points. the black man accepts the racist’s bigotry instead of continuing to challenge it. racists like to be unchallenged and want their hate to be accepted.
ОтветитьThat's a awfully hot coffee pot
ОтветитьTs buns💔🥀
ОтветитьThe thing is, the white part comes with facts while the black man comes back with anecdotal emotional experiences
