Love it, but, would rather have a different power plant. Why not have something like a diesel-electric motor set up like a train. Could use something similar to a 4bt that generates power to electric axles. That would be a true hybrid and would probably get more than 4-500 miles.

No 2-door, grrrrrr. The original 2-door is about the size of today's 4-door. They can use the same exact body of the new 4-door to make a 2-door.

I really hope they can keep the price point for both of these vehicles, and I absolutely love the gasoline range extender option... This has officially become my new obsession.... and if they can keep these price points, I'll be selling my Bronco and heading over to Scout!!

The design is what I wanted the Bronco to be. Solid body with that retractable roof. Don’t get me wrong I love my Bronco’s “open air experience” but I barely use it.
Love the range extender option. But it’ll be a daily driver. The Bronco is reserved for off roading.

The killer is going to be how much the dealership mark up is, especially the first year. Given recent history if you get one for less than 75k you'll be lucky. If VW is smart and wants to sell a boat load of them they will require the dealership to sell at the MSR pricing. If they make that requirement they'll sink the Bronco and all the other pickups in this class.

It’s a slightly better looking (from the front) R1T with no better range or likely efficiency, pretty average specs in terms of charging and battery (especially when it finally does hit the market), and the only thing relatively innovative is the solid rear axle likely procured from Magna whom has already confirmed will be in a next gen electric truck coming from an American maker. Either T3 from ford or smaller ev truck from GM.

All gas and or diesel models please!!! Then maybe.

I am just giddy about a bench seat. I’m loving the throwback to column shifters and bench seats.

Seems like a very copied/stolen design. Rivian interior is much nicer. I think Scout is 10 years too late with this design.
