Ответитьgreat project.. my one qualm -- a few of the uses of "dado" should really be "rabbet" or "groove".. Rabbets are L shaped reliefs on the edges.. Dadoes are U-shaped reliefs mid-work piece cut across the grain.. Grooves would be a U-shaped relief cut with the grain..

Ответитьa very elegant design. but you forgot an essential item for a birdhouse. a cleanout trapdoor or easily removable piece somewhere to clean out the old nests at the end of each season. this is important for the birds and you will at one time get wasps or something similar nesting and need to get rid of them. old birdnests harbour mites which will infest the next nest. there are many reasons for cleanouts. something I see missing in all decorative birdhouses.
