AAAA I love how both of you document all shows y'all do! It's so fun hearing BTS from people who love the shows they are in as much as you both!!

This means so much to me!!! The 2020 version of vhscc was a silly mess but I still immediately loved the show and it continues to be so important and beautiful. Everyone involved in every iteration is so talented and the show continues to amaze me. I love hearing you both talk about it and seeing all the behind the scenes things that have been shared! I hope to see the full show in person someday, I had a blast at the jangle ball tour. The passion you have for your projects and friendships is incredibly special to witness.

It's so true - the appeal of SK (and starcanpulpwrecked more broadly) is the heart put into it. Sure there may be silly or raunchy or absurd layers too, but there's a core earnestness that resonates.

The bells & whistles are nice - there's a distinct glow-up between NMT1 & 2 as an example - but as gorgeous as your 8k music videos for Axeman or Run Away With Me truly ARE, I'm just as invested in Bill & Alice's dynamic in Watcher World.

I've made this comparison before: cake art is beautiful & amazing, but a lot of media feels like the window display items that are intricately decorated but have styrofoam inside. Even if it's not fake within, the fondant canvas all that hard work was put upon is usually peeled off & discarded once served because it doesn't taste great. Whereas the humblest looking layer cake made by a grandma with frosting smeared on with a butter knife satisfies so much more - maybe she sometimes gets fancy & swoops it with the back of a spoon or adds candies or chocolates, but it's always focused on tasting great & showing love.

VHSCCS is SO special & yes so timely. It was objectively kinda nuts for me to travel there & back from SC this year lol, but it was exactly what I (& the world) need right now. I can't fight all the darkness with my one little candle, but it hasn't totally won if mine's still lit, and I won't do the snuffing for it. I can't help *every*body but helping *some*body still matters.

It's beautiful & so are y'all as humans & I'm so grateful - hard agree that Luna was the star here tho ;)

Meredith and Jonna are literally the only vloggers whose videos I can watch all the way through lol. It was nice seeing you guys' chat after seeing her mention in it the vlog!! as someone who also wants to work in the “industry” one day (whatever that may end up being lol) it’s always so inspiring to see these kinds of conversations with those I look up to in it, that care about what they’re making and who they’re making it with. It’s such a joy and reminds me why I love making creative stuff!! I can’t wait to see what y’all are able to do with vhscc next year! :)

In actuality, you don't have to know a lot of Broadway and West End to be known as a theatre kid. So refreshing to hear!

You are both wonderful people! As a fellow artistic professional there is nothing better than performing with a genuine group of friends that love their work and the people making it.
