Slow Rush played a huge role in keeping me sane during the lock down 🙏
ОтветитьIt blows my mind how normal this dude is. He just allows himself to completely be himself authentically when he creates.
ОтветитьMelodk Eye is the next Tame Impala for real. Lefty upsidedown backwards guitar player, mind bending 🤯
ОтветитьHabla y no puedo creer aue cante como lo hace, me gustaria ver un video dd el habñando y desoues cantanfo
Ответитьhe said he'd never leave a 5 year gap between albums again. well here we are haha.
Ответитьwow.. @29mins in, I've never thought of that. The creator not having the ability to listen to their creation for the first time 🤯
ОтветитьSlow Rush came out during such a magical time in my life. One of those albums that gives you instant nostalgia, almoat every song.
It was during the 4 years i was totally sober, so i remember everything. I listened to that album a lot.
❤
Ответитьmagnificent waves input from visual input can completely adjust what you put into motionALL mechanicISM, in a side INPUT SENSE FROM AN AUDIO CREATION STANDPOINT
ОтветитьI love kevin so so much :D
Ответитьi am serious when i say i have never heard of any other artist like kevin parker. his music gives me an unbelievable feeling and i will never be able to put it into words. a gifted, unreal soul. ❤ so much love.
ОтветитьBorderline was definitely an LA song
ОтветитьNo disrespect but I feel his questions fall a bit short and that he doesn’t really seem to understand the bedroom artist story, so every time Kevin answers a question he just gets another question showing how not understanding the interviewer is on these topics at all
ОтветитьBruh the interviewer is kinda annoying...
ОтветитьZane Lowe here, is fake, slimy, and cringy!
ОтветитьOne More Year is a manifesto. I think Kevin's whole ouvre is about surrender--not resignation or giving up, but definitely trying to take your hands off the controls and actually spend time in the present l-i-v-i-n. Such a profound statement of intent in today's internet-and-smart-device obsessed world. Not only does he make incredible music--this guy has something to say, and I wish more people would pay attention to it
ОтветитьHad a really good talk with him the other night, God I love him.
Ответить“I like doing things that make me uncomfortable to be creative”
“Like WHAT?”
Kevin hit on something in terms of the apparently haphazard way he works that I tried to express in my one line poem, Wisdom: 'I wish I was doing now/ what I used to do/ when I didn't know/ what I was doing'❤ --It's about the joys of serendipidous discovery. ----Kevin Whelan, Moycullen H91 EN1K, Co Galway, Ireland
ОтветитьWaiting for another album still
ОтветитьThe ccooooolest…..
ОтветитьI feel more and more inspired and somehow on the same vibe with Kevin, dk why.
Ответитьthe slow rush is an evidence of kevin's musical mastery
ОтветитьMost comments are from 4 years.. obssessing with Kevin is a still going thing here
ОтветитьKevin pulls his songs from a wormhole where he came from because this guys is not from anywhere human habited
ОтветитьIt's weird watching
Famous millionaires
Sitting and talking
In a multimillionaire mansion
And having a $10 crappy
Ikea table to hold their drinks
Love kevin! Truly an inspiration for me as an producer/artist, making me feel like i can get somewhat to where he is! I keep coming back to this interview for inspiration one thing i learned from him is to learn what inspires you. what brings you the ideas to music and its done wonders for me. One day I’ll work with kevin man i know it
ОтветитьThis album has been an incredible soundtrack for the past 3 years
Borderline was first awakening, then lost in yesterday to help me release that toxic relationship, breathe deeper pushing me into my own courage doing so and one more year to see myself letting go of my toxic attachments. This man has been my oracle. God bless him 🙌
Borderline is my favourite song ever, it's just beautifully perfect, I love this guy
ОтветитьZane Lowe is a very skilful flatterer.
ОтветитьHe’s so humble down to earth. A capricorn/aqua cusper a fuckin’ genius.
ОтветитьHe’s one of the greatest musicians/virtuosos of all time. His mind for music is gold
ОтветитьDo you pay your taxes?
ОтветитьI really like Kevin. He seems so down to earth and just musically intelligent. I appreciate his music so much. It makes some days so much better. I like his older music better. But it’s cool that he’s kinda going in different routes and just seeing what works
ОтветитьAh yes "the science"
ОтветитьI could listen him talk for hours
Ответитьwhats the beat they keep teasing it sounds sick. makes me want to write
ОтветитьZane Lowe. You're not that cool.
ОтветитьThis is such a great interview.
ОтветитьI like how he’s gone from like psychedelic rock aficionado to more dance driven psychedelic pop to like a DJ
ОтветитьI'm sorry, I missed it, my English is not perfect: what is this thing he uses as doorsteps and that buried one on his backyard?? I cannot understand, it's driving me crazy 😂
Ответитьthis guy has such a crazy vocal range i did not expect his voice to be that deep 💀
ОтветитьFebruary, 2020 - “Science is science.”
March, 2020 - Fellas have I got some news for you!
Ah man, Kevin is such a big influence on me as a musician. His songwriting, production, attitude, everything. Clearly a genius but humble also. My latest song is influenced a lot by Tame - take a listen if you are curious!
ОтветитьPosthumous Forgiveness… I think I vibe with the song on a real ass emotional level. My dad is alive, but my relationship with him is very complicated. I didn’t really LOVE the song until he got in a car accident that put him in intensive care. It perfectly encapsulates everything that was going through my head. The mental scenario of him not being able to explain his actions to me and why he avoided being a father to my brother and I. It’s beautiful to have a song that can do that. It instantly made me love Kevin Parker’s work on a level I never expected I would
ОтветитьMy only criticism of Kevin is he fixes his hair too much but that’s alright, mate.
ОтветитьGreat interview
