Slow Rush came out during such a magical time in my life. One of those albums that gives you instant nostalgia, almoat every song.
It was during the 4 years i was totally sober, so i remember everything. I listened to that album a lot.

No disrespect but I feel his questions fall a bit short and that he doesn’t really seem to understand the bedroom artist story, so every time Kevin answers a question he just gets another question showing how not understanding the interviewer is on these topics at all

One More Year is a manifesto. I think Kevin's whole ouvre is about surrender--not resignation or giving up, but definitely trying to take your hands off the controls and actually spend time in the present l-i-v-i-n. Such a profound statement of intent in today's internet-and-smart-device obsessed world. Not only does he make incredible music--this guy has something to say, and I wish more people would pay attention to it

I keep coming back to this interview for inspiration one thing i learned from him is to learn what inspires you. what brings you the ideas to music and its done wonders for me. Borderline was first awakening, then lost in yesterday to help me release that toxic relationship, breathe deeper pushing me into my own courage doing so and one more year to see myself letting go of my toxic attachments. This man has been my oracle. God bless him 🙌

I really like Kevin. He seems so down to earth and just musically intelligent. I appreciate his music so much. It makes some days so much better. I like his older music better. But it’s cool that he’s kinda going in different routes and just seeing what works

Ah man, Kevin is such a big influence on me as a musician. His songwriting, production, attitude, everything. Clearly a genius but humble also. My latest song is influenced a lot by Tame - take a listen if you are curious!

Posthumous Forgiveness… I think I vibe with the song on a real ass emotional level. My dad is alive, but my relationship with him is very complicated. I didn’t really LOVE the song until he got in a car accident that put him in intensive care. It perfectly encapsulates everything that was going through my head. The mental scenario of him not being able to explain his actions to me and why he avoided being a father to my brother and I. It’s beautiful to have a song that can do that. It instantly made me love Kevin Parker’s work on a level I never expected I would

My only criticism of Kevin is he fixes his hair too much but that’s alright, mate.
