They are both so same it's not distinguishable. How happy you will be with the install is 90% installer and which material he is more comfortable installing. I had a 3M full wrap installed on my car with great results except the cunt that installed it cut my paint on the bumper with his little knife. Other than that, the 3M is indistinguishable from the others. Also, if you treat the film like shit and it sits in direct sun all day every day it will look terrible in just a couple of years.
ОтветитьIf you applied one of these products, and after 10 years of gravel hitting them, you had to replace the film. How would that price ( 2 layers) compare to having your hood or bumper repainted?
ОтветитьI was enjoying this until you came back at the last minute with that snapon slot driver and tried to impale the trunk. If only you could see my facial expression 🤣
ОтветитьStek is by far the best in the industry. It's like butter to install and has incredable stretch. As for rock chips, when 3m pro series and xpel ultimate take a bad rock chip it rips out a chip size chunk of film with it. Stek rock chips don't do this because it's less rigid than other films and has more give. I have had no warranty claims since switching over to Stek a year ago... none! Also, using a torch over a heat gun is a great way to remove scratches faster and more effectively but only if done by an experienced installer as to not burn through film and paint.
Informative video. That screwdriver was frightening though!
Thank you for this comparison!
ОтветитьWow! Great video. Thank you for the demonstration. Do they cost the same? I was planning to give my Tesla Model 3 a full PPF with Xpel. One of the shop told me to go with Stek because the Xpel gets yellow quicker. Is this true?
ОтветитьDo you now offer STEK DYNOshield ppf for customers if they request it? Or do you prefer Suntek vs. XPEL? Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you taking the time on this.
ОтветитьSorry if you answered this in the video, but is stek available for anyone to buy? Can't seem to find it anywhere.
Ответитьthe clear winner is... the original clear coat
ОтветитьI'm assuming after all that, you are trying to show a cbeaper product works as well as XPEL? What is cost difference for a full front bra?
ОтветитьDamn, that hurt to watch.
ОтветитьAnnnnnnnd the truck lid is junk.....
Ответитьwhat is the software and plotter your using ? do you prefer software ?
Ответитьfinally wich better i need direct answer please ?
Ответитьgreat video.... but I stick to 3M, the inventor of PPF.
ОтветитьAmazing 😎
ОтветитьSuperb video, so glad to be a subscriber. I just bought a load of STEK for my new car, looking forward to applying it later. This has been a useful video. Thanks.
Ответитьyou can recommend Carlike from China as well. it should each fine also test china product and Xpel. Thanks
ОтветитьLooking to replace the clear bra on my 2016 Corvette so this was timely!
ОтветитьIf the sun +40 so we dont need to use that hair dryer to increase the healing ?
Ответить8mil or 10mil PPF?
ОтветитьCar condoms
Ответитьthank you , i just ask around about PPF and xpel vs stek. still thinking about. xpel with matt or stek , cost almost the same. some ppl say xpel getting yellow after 4 mth+ , no idea
ОтветитьGot an expel on my car, good for little daily rocks or scratchs, but any knife or cutter will break tru .. if a f£@^%r decides to damage your car
ОтветитьCareful if you get Xpel products anywhere. The main company does NOT
stand behind its product with its so called life time warranty on its
tint or its dealers (or customers for that matter.) I had to go thru
mediation and threaten to sue them just to get a refund on the brutal
issues I had with one of their dealers that damaged my car and did a
piss poor job. The tint they used also was not optically clear and had
an orange peel to it.
super video thank you!
ОтветитьCompare heat gun healing to hot water healing, maybe?
ОтветитьThink u went harder on the aztec there bud
ОтветитьLooks like it out proformed on the scratch test every time though...
ОтветитьHello, i am also using xpel but my saler told me that the ultimate 7 is as good as any 8mm ppf... what did you experienced about it?
Tanks a lot!
Bro thank you so much for making this video!
ОтветитьI think I cried a little bit when he used the screwdriver.
ОтветитьI have a 3M PPF that was installed back in 2008 and still clear (no yellowing) I assume both of these newer PPF product will do the same.
ОтветитьTo me it looks like stek did better.
ОтветитьCan u suggest what width i should buy xpel rol so that i can cover my full body honda accord 2020 sports
ОтветитьSo stek is the better one
ОтветитьSelf healing part was disappointing to be honest it never healed up.
ОтветитьThe Xpel seemed to not show scratches as much, but both protected the paint equally from what I can see.
ОтветитьWhich is the more optically clear? I have a black car and looking for maximum clarity.
ОтветитьI wish they would answer the comments So some effort please You do get paid for your videos ✌️
Ответитьyou need to do a new one with Xpel Ultimate Fusion
ОтветитьGreat video, I’m planning to add it to my new semi truck that I’m in the process to order but I was wondering how long this film would last in a semi truck that will operate in all terrain and weather conditions because I travel all across the country?
ОтветитьHairdryer is way more safe than heat gun. I learned that the hard way when the film melted.
Ответитьthanks for doing this to your own hood for us to see👊👊
Ответить??? XPEL says warm water is good for healing, and lacquer thinner as a good solvent...
Ответитьthank you ... that was so helpful you did a great experiment with great efforts thank you again
ОтветитьGood and pretty crazy testing. So even results? What do you think of the Llumar Valor film compared to these?
Ответитьwhat about the XPEL fusion, is it top?
ОтветитьAnd why Not 3M?
