Best companion in Baldur's Gate?
(Apart from Minsc because obvs he number 1)
Tried Boosteroid recently, and wow, it’s a lifesaver for my low-spec PC. Played a couple of demanding games with no issues whatsoever. If you’re struggling with an outdated system, this could be your best bet.
ОтветитьBhaal is the villain in every game
ОтветитьIS THAT GAMING HARRY DOING THE VO?😮
ОтветитьI had in mind to cheat a little and just watch this, but i changed my mind and gonna buy them and play, ofc, after i finish other unfinished single players, that is the best way imo.
ОтветитьBRO
ОтветитьAfter beating BG3, it really seems like nothing that happens in that game is connected to the events of BG1-2 aside from the appearances of returning characters.
ОтветитьI cant imagine how excited the original players must've been seeing familiar faces when playing BG3, sadly I was born in the early 2000s so I wasn't able to fully experience them when they came out, but there's always time to pick them up
Ответить"We get to return to Avernus in BG3" Mfw our "return" to Avernus is the tutorial and the other option is to fight a devil in his mansion but thats it
ОтветитьWell this cleared up some things, just finished 3 but haven’t played any others. Some optional boss fights make more sense if you know these plot lines
ОтветитьPlaying Dragon Age Origins so many times, and I never once thought about how getting to the city at the end of the game and being framed was almost exactly what happened in BG1 lol
Ответить1and 2 far better than 3
ОтветитьTerrible, artless summary. Repetitive vocal delivery.
ОтветитьI didn't know this game existed
ОтветитьYou talk way too fast and you’ve over simplified the story to be doing something like this.
ОтветитьI love that they've added Sarevok to bg3
ОтветитьPrefer one and two play styles to the turn based style of 3 tbh
ОтветитьI grew up and largely learned to read through this game.
ОтветитьHey, greetings from the future. BD3 is amazing!
ОтветитьI was there Gandalf, 2000 years ago. I played BG2 LAN mode when i was 14 with my friends. At that time LAN cables where coaxial ones and not the current square LAN cables we all know today. We never went past the 1st act playing together as we were too busy creating our characters and doing goofy stuff in the first city. Now we have fiber internet which is literally 2000 times faster than the internet we had at that time. But playing online doesn't have the same taste as doing it ghetto style with your friends like we did before!
ОтветитьI know it won't happen, but my dream would be a remake of the old Baldur's Gate Story in the way of Baldur's Gate 3. :)
ОтветитьAs someone who never once played a Baldur's gate game until 3 and only an hour of it as of this morning, i can safely say........... this looks absolutely nothing like the current baldur's gate game :/
Ответить"And it turns out, Imowen is one of Baals children as well."
I can literally hear the anguished cries of so many fans crying out in agony as they realize their entire shipping world was shattered XD
"And the world around you fades to grey..." This narrator clearly doesn't know the difference between black and grey.....
ОтветитьThere is a gale in bg2?
ОтветитьKorevas is not Sarevok backwards. Koveras would be.
Ответить"I care not."
Ответитьlove the sounds of the games, but my initial thoughts are 'go to jail simulator' haha
ОтветитьGot both of these on sale for $10
ОтветитьA better explanation for expansion packs is paying for actual content that comes from developers instead of free skins that came from the community.
ОтветитьI just found this and thank you very much! I've played a good chunk of 1, but haven't completed it, and never played 2. Just the other day finished Act 1 in BG3, really loving it, and I'm happy to see more ties to the original game than just Jaheira and Minsc.
ОтветитьOh 2 years later and way into BG3, Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI played both of these multiple times on PS2, and i don't remember ANY of this.
ОтветитьThey need to make a full remake and they will make lovely money
ОтветитьI feel like including Siege of Dragonspear is kinda.. eh.. since it's pretty much non-canon as far as I'm concerned. The writing and the narrative don't hold up to the original games at all, and it was basically just Beamdog riding on the coattails of Black Isle's reputation and success.
ОтветитьI just replayed BG1 after 20 odd years. I had forgotten how masterfully the mainstory pacing is done. The big mistery is revealed so slowly, it seems to be a political intrigue for 2/3rds of the Game until finally they start to reveal that it is a powerplay for Godhood. I wish more games would dare to start so small and be more gradual with the revelation of world altering plots.
ОтветитьGood recap, but you skipped over Irenicus's motivation. He and Bohdi were elves experimenting on the Tree of Life and were exiled from the elven city and stripped of their elven immortality. So they sought to regain that immortality. That's actually why Bohdi is a vampire, it was her first attempt. Irenicus's plan was to steal your Bhaal essence and become immortal that way. Once he succeeded and gained power, he returned to the tree and kept up his experiments,
Ответить*Realises Koveras is Sarevok backwards. Still calls him Korevas and spells it Korevas on screen when explaining it's Sarevok backwards. *
ОтветитьTy cause its overwhelming playing this lol
ОтветитьOctober 6 2022!?
ОтветитьWhy would harpers want to preserve the balance of good and evil? Whats wrong with all good? I assume there is a reason so i am honestly curious.
Ответитьsarevok returns in BG3, i havent played the old games so having played through bg3 already and listening to past games lore and returning characters is really fun
ОтветитьCorrection: the first experience of the "virtual lands of the Forgotten Realms" was SSI's "Pool of Radiance" in 1988
ОтветитьI wish I could get into these games but it's just too dated. The UI is exhausting and so much of it just isn't intuitive.
Ответитьthis was epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ответитьlol can anyone just tell the story of the game and not clickbait
ОтветитьWow. So much errors in the video lol
Ответитьtechnically Eye of the Beholder(1991) takes place in the Sewers of Waterdeep making it an earlier computer introduction to Faerun
ОтветитьTo note, even though the game itself is not made fully canonical, from AD&D to D&D 3.5e, official material brings up a new god of Death, Kelemvor, who was a bhaalspawn that inherited godhood but was, in fact, good.
So canonically the player would take up godhood as a good God of Death.
Good to know that BG3 totally invalidates your character in these games. The redemption of your brother? Erased. Viconia's development? Erased. The eradication of Bhaal? Rerconned away.
