Taking the time to create a bio self cleaning bird active ecosystem is so rewarding to see.

An aquascape ecosystem is perfect for a flamingo exhibit! They’re poopy! There’s flamingos here in the San Diego wild animal park and the smell is the worst

Love how the beautiful weathered driftwood creates so much character in the pond!

Ed, Trevor, & team, this project looks amazing!! That epoxy or what is it on the Flex PVC pipe? How did you clean that off when you had to reglue those fittings? I’m so happy that you’re able to reuse those tropicals from Thomas!

What tools and software do you use to design a water feature?

Amazing hopefully this works out and becomes more common for zoos. The less human intervention the better let nature do it’s thing.

Amazing job, guys! Having worked at a Nature Center with many live animal exhibits, this is right up my alley. So happy you guys are making a difference in the quality of life for those animals.

How much gravel did you put on top of the AquaBlox in the wetland, and what size was it? Why did you leave the plants in the plastic containers, rather than creating larger planting pockets for them so their roots could absorb more of the nutrient load?
