Captain Flashman is a British officer, you don't demand nothing
( Bob Hoskins playing a policeman to Ollie Reed when Ollie said he was a German officer earlier in the film 🤣👍)
I have no idea what the hell I just watched 😂
ОтветитьКиркоров на дуэли
ОтветитьYou bully you!!
ОтветитьWow! Proximo from Gladiator truly is a man of combat and warlike arts.
ОтветитьFlashy films are too big in scope to be filmable at any reasonable cost. At The Charge would be wonderful.
ОтветитьTruly the most retarded form of duel
Ответитьthis movie did absolutely no justice to Flashman. Can't believe how badly they portrayed him here.
ОтветитьThis is why so many German WW2 officer were scarred.
ОтветитьThe irony is Oliver reed was like Flashman for real 😂😂😂
Ответитьwell, at least the germans have a real form of duel until today ... as the rest of the world is chickening away
ОтветитьОчень круто. Посмотрю весь фильм.
ОтветитьTook me a second to realize that's Mcdowell. Always created memorable scenes.
Ответить"I salute you, you Animal."
Definetly will be using that later on 😂
I had no idea that there was a film version of this but I've read all the books. In my minds eye Flashy is a more imposing figure than this
ОтветитьOliver Reed was an amazing Otto Von Bismarck in this movie. Everyone did a great job. MacDonald Fraser consulted on the screenplay. Ultimately the movie required too much thought and irony for American audiences. Clearly, there would have been an entire series of Flashman movies had this not tanked. A tragedy.
ОтветитьDaniel Day Lewis could have done Flash Harry justice.
ОтветитьOMG I read the Flashman books but didn't ever see there was a movie.
ОтветитьWow, i never knew old flashman was in film, loved the books.
ОтветитьGreat movie that Chitty chitty bang bang! “It’s the posh posh travelling life for me!”
ОтветитьJust a few seconds into this video, I paused it. Too amazing. I would rather find and watch the movie. No, more, than that, I would rather explore the filmography of the director, Richard Lester.
ОтветитьThis movie is nothing like the book, which was a wonderful and hilarious story.
ОтветитьBoth magnificent actors..
Both i am very fond of..
Spring, where did you Eric from? My favorite line of the film.
ОтветитьI didn't image it so vicious when I read the book.
ОтветитьI salute you, you animal. LOL!
ОтветитьAlways enjoyable, Oliver Reid.😂
ОтветитьI notice old Oliver has no scars.
ОтветитьI never knew they made a movie of this...
ОтветитьShould have been Sean Connery.
ОтветитьI loved the books but was not impressed by the movie. In the movie Flashman was constantly whiney and the movie was overly 70s slapstick for my tastes.
ОтветитьA shame no other film/ tv company has ever tackled Flashman.
ОтветитьAnd now: Bierjunge!
ОтветитьOliver reed and Lionel jeffries in the same production fantastic
ОтветитьEver wondered why all James Bond villains have disfigured faces...
Ответить😂😂😂noch nie in einer echten mensur gestanden, begriffen nix ,Historie nix , recherchiert nix , aber rausblasen ,
ОтветитьIn fact, this is a specific cosmetic procedure 😂
ОтветитьProbably the most miscast film in history...
ОтветитьArgh, me remeber this film back in the early 80s...
Ответитьmiscast
ОтветитьУдар зброєю в лице тоді був символом неповаги до противника.
ОтветитьName today's Oliver Reed or Malcolm McDowell equivalent. . . . . . .
ОтветитьI realize one guy was like an official, setting them up and then starting the match, but was the guy with the metal hand doing? He set up like to defend, but then backed off and still had his sword raised, like to defend.
Did he really think the guy who did not want to fight would attack him?
"I salute you , you animal" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
ОтветитьThe referee with the steel hand - Lionel Jeffries, the Second in white, looks like Alan Bates!
ОтветитьHave to say, McDowell was never my idea of Flashman. Far too scrawny,.
ОтветитьMalcolm McDowell was woefully miscast as Flashman. The whole premise of the Flashman character was that he looked like a Hero , McDowell looks like what he is a 60s pretty boy actor with minimal , if any, talent
Ответить“Well I ain’t gonna wear blinko’s, damn you!”
“I salute you, you animal!”
“Pish to you.”
😂🤣😆. FOLF LMAO. I don’t know why but I love this dialogue so much. I am unaware of this movie which I understand was made from a book, but know these two of these legendary actors here in Malcolm McDowell & Oliver Reed. I found this after watching a video on why aristocratic German WW2 officers had facial scars.
I do love cinema & history so I like exploring old movies & hiddem gems in addition to the classics. I really love seeing old movies & the places, people, & history they capture. For example I love seeing old castles such as this. This is the closest thing we have to tome travel but while I love seeing old stuff it’s always a treat finding something funny😂
Brillant film.. funny as
COME TO JOLLY GERMANY THE EATING BASTARDS.
Thebananastore123 is now watching
