Laurel Lanes (Mount Olive, NJ), 4K arcade walkthrough & tour, March 2024

Laurel Lanes is a somewhat upscale independent bowling alley located in Mount Olive, NJ. Features onsite include a full-service restaurant & bar, ice cream parlor, multiple pool tables, over 50 lanes of bowling, and a medium-sized arcade area including a rather large Omni Arena virtual reality attraction. Everything has a fresh new sheen on it! Unfortunately, on my visit, there were a number of games that either weren't working, extremely expensive, or in various states of disrepair. Big Buck Hunter, Connect 4 Hoops, Ice Walker, and Minecraft were all down for the count. Mandalorian pinball kept having issues with balls getting stuck and then unable to be found. And StepManiaX was priced at an area high $2 per one song. Ultimately, for arcades, there's much better options in the area that I would pick over a return visit here, but I wouldn't mind coming back to try some of that ice cream.
