Neither rosewood nor maple have any effect on the tone. It's all in the strings (gauge, material, flat/round) and the pickups... the rest is myths guitarists and saddly luthiers believe, proven BS

No excuse for injuring yourself. Ever. Stretch before you play or practice. If it hurts- STOP!- and go back at least one step.
