Deadpool & Wolverine: F*** Yeah

2024's "GOATPOOL & WOLVERINE" is a superheroes movie, means it could be either dark or fun and that's why it succeeded.

Meanwhile, 2024's "GODZILLA KONG: THE NEW DUMPSTER-FIRE" is a Giant-Monsters movie and a disaster-genre movie, meaning it should be only dark (Whether it's about the nuclear weapon or not) yet it wasn't and that's why it failed.

This is the only movie I have ever went to the theaters for a second watch. Its so much fun! Deadpool is a perfect example that sometimes, its fine not having an amazing story or not even a good one. But having amazing characters that make it fun is more than worth it and is possible to replace a story. I dont think the story was bad, although definitely lazy writing. But thats Deadpool! Who cares about the Story, youre there for the character (Or characters).

Deadpool and Wolverine were amazing together. And then a bunch of the actors replaying their parts did so amazing too! Human Torch, Blade, X-23, Pyro and even Elektra did amazing! And Cassandra Nova was such an entertaining and good villain for the story. I didnt even know that character existed until this move and Im sure thousands, if not millions of people, are the same.

It was either this or more black widow typa movies, and I’ll take this all day

Everything you said adds to the theory that this movie was originally about Deadpool travelling through the "movie verse" and not really the "MCU multiverse". Which is why Gambit is in the movie and doesnt know his origin. He even says he mightve been born in the "void". Which orignally would've just been a place where dead movies and characters from those movies go.

Pink Floyd on the villain of Deadpool and Wolverine Cassandra was fucking fantastic she was pure evil enjoyed her power as a God and God off on it and to be quite honest if I had her same hours I would have been the same fucked up evil person as her times a thousand so I really really enjoyed her as a villain. Unless the name rhymes with Thanos Marvel cannot get a villain right and I thought she was fan fucking testing

As a screenplay, the plot is a bit flimsy. However, if you see the plot as meta as Deadpool, it makes sense from a movie watching experience. Having characters from failed franchises in the void, it comes together. Just my thoughts.

I hate that Jon Favreau keeps doing the most to make the MCU Earth-616. The movies are fun, but it's not Earth-616. If that were the case, Hulk wouldn't have been just a warrior on Sakkar, Thor would've been far more powerful and formidable than what the movies make him, multiple cultural gods would've been well known, Wolverine and Captain America would've been together in WWII, Spider-Man wouldn't have ever been Iron boy jr, the Infinity Gauntlet wouldn't have seared itself onto Thanos after a single snap or drained his health way down, Quicksilver would've still been alive, the hatred and prejudice against mutants would've been engrained into humans, Ultron would've actually lasted longer than the 3 days the movie took place in, Civil War would've actually have had all the heroes around at some point, and Abomination would've still been one of the Hulk's greatest, and most destructive enemies instead of going all Namaste. I could go on and on, but point is, Jon Favreau trying to make the MCU earth 616 is just downright insulting to what the heroes can and have done in the actual comics.

Ryan's movies have always been like this if you realize: sure dissect all the plot you want, but did you have fun? I personally would bring someone who's down and depressed to watch a Ryan Reynold's movie to cheer up.

Yup, the script is kind of non sensical, but heck this movie is so much fun. Morena Baccarin is so pretty...

I'm sorry, I don't understand some of your complaints about anchor beings. The movie isn't talking about a real universe. It's talking about fictional universes. Marvel Cinnematic Universe began with the first Ironman movie, so, yes, Robert Downey Jr.'s Ironman is the anchor being of the MCU. X-Men cinnematic universe began with the original X-Men movie, starting Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, so yes, he's the anchor being of that universe. TVA isn't keeping track of real universes, just fictional superhero universes, which certainly haven't existed for billions of years. This is a meta film, remember?

I feel like people always nitpick the plot of this movie for some reason. Even though there were some great characters arks in it and the plot made sense.

Deadpool cant go back to any point in timeline, he can only switch between timelines not move "along". He destroyed time machine which was mentioned.

I have watched this twice now. The point where you were talking about the plot, I was sitting there thinking "what the fuck is this guy talking about?" Saw it twice, had so much fun with the nonsense that I completely blanked on the "story". That is a sign of a good time had by all in a movie.

It was a cash grab. I'm surprised "the movie cynic" doesn't realize it. It heavily relied on cameos.

I will say, I don't think a single solitary person went to see deadpool & wolverine for the story, everyone went for the cameos, and to see ryan renolds and hugh jackman on the same screen again.

Knowing that this movie was written by fans compared to the garbage written by activists is like night and day. I wish the other MCU movies/TV shows were like this.

DP is the Only character Ryan Reynolds can play and Hugh carried this film, as seen by every other character RR has ever played.

As much as I liked this movie, In my Opinion it's only a 7/10. It's riddled with more plot holes than No Way Home and the entire movie would have been 20mins long if the TVA villain guy wasn't a complete idiot not to mention the ending was a complete mess, Cassandra Nova wasn't even a character at that point.

I put this movie in the same tier as GXK, fun as helll but is only possible due to the characters making stupid decision's.

What you and MauLer have failed to understand about the TVA is that it doesn't police time or universes, it polices STORIES. A STORY doesn't exist without its anchor being.

This movie sucks ass and your reviews suck worse. Nothing but 5 second cameos and pointless fights non stop between the main characters, with absolutely nothing at all at stake. MCU is absolutely dead and no amount of potty humor can save it.

The in-store release still does not include the extra cameo extended scenes which were legally required to be included under the actor's contract. Disney beoke the law by releasing the version of this film that they did, BOTH in theaters AND in stores.

So NOT "good job" to Disney, man. Good job to Ryan Raynolds, Hugh Jackman and the other folks who actually worked so hard on this film.

Great video and awesome movie, but one point cause I’m a stickler. Logan was over 200 years old when he died, not that that makes your point about anchor beings incorrect.

Channing Tatum was funny as hell in this movie. It would be fun to at least see him in an ensemble movie.

Deadpool and wolverine is a movie that understood at the very deep level the assignment.
It was precisely the kinda movie it need to be and honestly the last hurrah of the Fox movies no just Logan.

Dude there were some snort out loud moments the look on Wolverine when Deadpool says that one time at camp I rewatched it was laughing for 10 minutes
