Pablo the little red fox theme song - cbeebies

We all agree there is something about the song that just gets to us. 😭

i just sobbed while listening to this because of the intense nostalgia this theme gives me

I heard it. Actually the show itself is not sad at all but might even be funny. It's this theme song that's emotional because the lyrics "Run, Pablo run in the wind and the rain and the sun..." along with the string instruments, making it feel as if a cute little fox is curiously yet secretly enjoying the earth without being caught by humans (the happy part) but is homeless so he has to keep running bravely for his life no matter rain or shine or storm until he finally finds a warm shelter to call home and is safe from natural disasters (the sad part). It's like a poor little fragile thing going through such a big hardship, so it gets emotional to think of it. And usually those who cried here tend to be those who love animals more than not. Am I right? 💔

Thanks for this. I took a photograph on an old camera og this on TV hoping I'd remember. Decades after and here it is. Thank you. I've had this song stuck in my head occasionally for years never knowing where it came from and all makes sense now.

I used to and still love this show to this day, what it looked like has been in my mind since i was a kid - and though what i could remember most was it's appearance, i couldn't remember exactly what the name was until more recently when i spent some time searching for it.

Also I find it really wholesome how so many other people who remember it are also brought to tears - for a while i thought that was just me, 

it's a really hard to describe set of emotions that carry such good memories- and whoever created the show, it's theme and if i remember correctly the books it is based on  should be proud of it,

i remember bieng really sad when it stopped coming on tv, i wish i could go back and tell myself that it's not really gone, that one day i'd find it again.

This show was part of my childhood. 😌

This was my childhood every night my mum would stick on CBeebies and this was one of the last shows 64 zoo lane 2000s CBeebies is prime CBeebies fimbles tikabilla jelly and Jackson rolly moe and so so much more and BTW this theme still makes me cry it has and hits all the feels

This theme will always get me. The music is sad and the lyrics paint an image of these little foxes, who have no true home and will forever be running (in the rain, in the sun) to survive.

This show shares the same opinion as 64 Zoo Lane because it was made by the same people behind 64ZL. For those who don't know, I'm talking about Millimages. Plus, Pablo,Poppy and Pumpkin make a great trio! 😊 Also, fun fact: the theme song was sung by the children of Clewborough House School in Camberley, hence why it sounds cute!

Why do I feel like I've seen this before? I don't remember watching it on CBeebies (I watched 64 Zoo Lane, but there was a new version of that which I'm also nostalgic for, I'm 15 if you're wondering)...

I feel like I saw that theme song somewhere, maybe with the 64 Zoo Lane theme? Knowing the two themes have the same composer, it certainly gives off the vibes.

I hope something special happens to mark the upcoming 25th anniversary of this programme.

This is one of those shows that I only have smallest memory. As in one time I just started thinking this simple image of fox and the name Pablo rolled around. I don't remember if I liked it or not... I just had the image

Ah the things I’d do to be a kid again🥹

I've been trying to remember where I'd heard this theme from for weeks and I finally found it and can't believe how I managed to forget about it! This song was the soundtrack to my childhood and I remember the stories from each episode so vividly! I wish they still made shows like this for children today! ❤😊

There's something really beautiful about the fact that we seem to all recall a similar feeling while listening to this theme and from the memories we made watching the show. 
For the longest time and even now, i remember this bieng one of the only songs that could and still can consistantly bring me to tears - and yet i and many others can't quite place the reason why... but when i think of it, for me at least, it takes me back to a time when i saw the world outside as so strange and expansive, what could be out there? 

Long after this show stopped airing, after many years i had almost forgotten about it. Almost. Buuut.... in the back of my mind it was almost as though i had a really faint memory of the characters and artstyle, so i sought it out and after a while of searching, came across it again.

I hold the memory of this show close and love it dearly.

Also... i strongly associate this with Watership Down for some reason-
