How BIG is Tarkov? //Planned Open World Map for Escape from Tarkov

This are just Plans, and the never reach this. The stay on the game as it is atm and the just bring patches like it is. The never make some full openworld the never change the core of the game, the dont have the technic just ideas and wishes but its like all games nearly 70% of that stuff just refuse because its not doable.

Didn't BSG already scrap the idea of "open world"? They cant make it due to performance issues or something? So it will be more like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. map transisions.

This company has earned a lot of money and needs to finish the game. It needs to be optimized bigtime. I enjoy the game I just picked it up last month I just feel its lacking.

i hope this will be a separete "version" or map that you can choose to play on, while keeping the current game that we know today. my main attraction to the game is the raid system and how it makes the game a little more fast paced and way less time consumming then all the other survival looting games, since i dont really like this idea of having to walk a bunch to do stuff and people camping will anoying as fk. my guess is that the game will find itself in a state similar to dayz.
not even mention the desync and performance problems, and i think the sound system needs a overhaull before they make it open world

I feel like how stalker anomaly talkles this would be a decent stand in/system. Individual maps that you transfer between, safe areas that you build or worsen your reputation in, etc.

How many numbers are there in the 'secret location' name? If it's 4 or 5 that may be a nunber of military base as they're designated like this in Russia

nikita stated several times that the infil/exfil system will never leave the game. and it will be applied the same way with map to map progression. you will never have everything as one map . but youll be able to load from map to map and avoid menu/hideout if you want or if you have the resources. i think this shouldve been said in the video since theres still so much rumors around..

Personally I think 616 is going to be BSGs take on Cod black ops zombies 'element 115' or 'group 935' that researched the element. Either for maybe a 'zombies' survival DLC or some expansion campaign/ending campaign for terralabs biohazard material etc etc. Which makes a lot of sense seeing how big zombies has been but now with their decline in most recent installment, BSG might be making a play for a 'harder realistic' environment. In the bible too, 616 does mean mark of the beast. In real terms, it is the mark you put on yourself as a sign of sacrifice or to show loyalty. Doing something you hate but have to do is technically 'mark of the beast' in retrospect to you. So something involving terralabs HAVING to do something they didn't want to have happen (aka infection spread) could be play.

Just one word on the angled Aim point on the gun, that thing is totally a joke, Unlrealistic stuff. Nobody in reality would aim on laterla aim sight which is so popular today between gamers and airsoft gunners. It's just ridicolous.

Opening the entire maps would be amazing! And then have a car or truck to party up with the boiz and drive to the locations you need! 🤔 stash your car in your hideout. Customise it to a extent and yeah would be so cool

Honestly i wonder if when they get closer to being finished, if theyll announce a cutoff date for beta preorders, which then leads to normal preorders. Making the only way to see the game through streams and videos. Thatd create a lot of hype apart from the massive hype we have already. Id also like like maybe a special title or pouch for being beta testers. Itd be a nice small reward for sticking with it through everything

the concept of having 2 pmc ohter one that never wipes after completing campaign and is basically just that and the seasonal one should be great. a lot of games have seasonal characters and normal characters. best example would be diablo 3. seasonal and non seasonal heroes. on the normal character in tarkov there would basically be nearly unlimited roubles circulating due to it never wiping, wonder what would happen

I like the mechanics of tarkov a lot, but i'm sick of the wipes. I am so excited for all these features that will make tarkov feel more complete. I hope they have a character that always stays the same for those who don't play often and maybe a hardcore mode (death=restart) for those who want the challenge/wipe experience.

It just seems like such a lonnnggggg wait at this point. I've been in the beta since like the first few months, I just wish they could expand the team a bit to speed up development. It's going to be a game changer once they actually do it.

I absolutely cannot wait for the full game i also really hope a modding community comes out too though i know about the single player stuff if they actually just had a server for modding people would do some crazy stuff

Yeah for those who might not understand why BSG have not say any single world after the start of invasion, Russian government actually ban their civilian using twitter and I doubt BSG will able to post a tweet and get away with it.

Not to be a buzzkill but after playing this game for 3 years for all of this to be implemented and playable is going to take some serious change or miracle to pull all of this in under 3 years, probably 5
