I think Bert has ADHD actually. It's bordering on persecution.
Can't believe I've just written this, but it is what it is.

Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura are trust fund babies. Van Wilder was based on Bert's life (read the Rolling Stone article) and Segura's dad was a VP at Merrill Lynch. Both were able to be "comedians" because daddy paid their bills.

Still remember the story where one of the members of kiss wouldn’t do an interview until Bert was kicked out of the studio.

I don’t find him funny, but bird is fine. He’s worth a lot. He’s made a lot and his audience is super loyal. There’s a large quantity of stocky overly tan white men with dark glass sunburn stains around their eyes who wear shorts and flip-flops and always have a beer that love that dude. He may never hit that stratosphere, but he’s fine. I stopped at seven minutes. I don’t think I need another 14 minutes of this. I will say that I don’t think Joe Rogan is thinking in terms of I need Shane because he definitely doesn’t. I think Joe Rogan has like a man crush on Shane and that’s really all it is. I think he has a man crush and that she makes him laugh and I think that’s as far as he thinks. If Joe Rogan was worried about his clicks and views, he wouldn’t be having so many unknown people in specialty areas. Either way these guys are all set for life so they’ll be OK.

I agree that Shane is the funniest…. But saying Rogan needs Shane is ridiculous!

I’ve always found his slapstick stupid hairy sh*t dumb and I looobe low brow.. but to be incredibly funny one must be incredibly quippy which means one must be wildly intelligent. It only occurred to me now the following two things:

1. He does have that “every guy” shtick which I can totally see millions and millions of “every guys” landing him and their hero, whose humor and writing is wright on their level. It works for them.

2. As a very close friend to my best friend who is a severe alcoholic? Once you realize what’s actually happening and open your eyes, dig through the enabling and placating you really how f ing sad it actually is. He’s not as annoying to me anymore. My heart kinda hurts for his struggle

Ari's ability to seamlessly mix humor into a serious, potentially contentious response is really interesting. Never knew about this guy but I probably go check out his stuff now (which may be the point of this video).

Can we just never see Tom and Bert ever again?

Everyone knows Bert is an idiot. I have a bigger issue with Tom. Tom is more unfunny and boring than Bert, but he aligns himself next to Bert because he knows he’ll look funnier and wiser sitting next to the idiot in the room. He’s only staying around because it makes him look better by comparison. People will tune in to see Bert make a fool of himself all the time. But by himself, Tom is now just a stale wannabe Joe Rogan

Sometimes these videos just seem so hyperbolic implying that Joe has cut Bert out of his life? While yeah on the business side and podcast side maybe there's some slight problems there, but these two are still great friends and have been for 25 years. I don't think him interrupting him a few times would make him cut him out of his life
