No one said "slide your foot to Narnia"...
ОтветитьI’ve being staring over on my skateboarding and working through your Phases on Skool. I have a way more noticeable amount of control now. My Ollie’s have gotten another understanding what your board is supposed to be doing with you, rather than what you’re just trying to do to the board. The mechanics of how it works helps a lot. Thank you so much! 🙏 Still eating shit on drops at the skatepark. Never did verts in my life. I’ll get there sooner or later. Always been a street guy, but it looks fun. I’m going to have to work on that Phase now 😎
ОтветитьI had beasty ollies and i think its a mix of both 😂 cus your front foot goes back to the position it started from u dont land like that
ОтветитьNo you’re wrong Colonel Sanders!!!
ОтветитьMove your front foot back
ОтветитьBrooooooo your short bus shawty
Ответитьmy ollie’s either kick straight up and potentially nut shot me or i land with my front foot on back foot off
ОтветитьWhere was this info 16 years ago
ОтветитьDisagree on this one. Lifting your leg straight up does absolutely nothing and physically makes no sense.
ОтветитьActually. It looks like the body moves forward as the board moves back. And that's what causes the grip tape to grab the lifting foot. Because the foot just pushes so hard to lift the other side when the other foot comes up. Because once you go up into the air. You lift that foot that's in the back. So I hope I can figure this out on a Walmart board.
On another video a guy explains that you do slide your foot forward and not up because once that foot goes up. There's nothing to do but spread your knees.
Because you start with your knees together and your arms on both sides of your knees with your behind knee lower than your front knee. And thats pretty croutched down.
One thing most dont say about the slideing technique is your not tryinf to slide with foot pressured against board. You want your foot raising with board.
ОтветитьNo.
Teaching vids for skating is cringe. Everyone does everything differently, n fuck this guy for trying
Just do it like you feel good. In 1980it was sliding but the board's have evolved and the tricks as well.
Sk8 or die and have fun
you've gotta be kidding me im so pissed
ОтветитьYou did slide your foot on that fist clip.. you do have to draf the foot, or it goes rocket.
ОтветитьThat's good advice, the small slide that your foot does to the bolts is a symptom, not a necessary component.
ОтветитьDelete this video you ain’t Mike Mo we’re not listening
Ответитьneeded this bad
ОтветитьI’ve been sliding that foot ever since I started looking up how to ollie. I can’t want to get on my board and try this
ОтветитьPretty sure it was a Tony Hawk Vhs that taught me to slide my front foot. But lifting and letting the board just go like that makes so much sense. Now I'm old and can't skate but i feel like my ollies would've been better had i used this guys method.
ОтветитьWhy can’t I Ollie everytime though
ОтветитьWrong? That's how u rocket every time
ОтветитьThis is what timothy chalamet should be like
ОтветитьTechnically you're still sliding your foot. You have to slide it in the direction the board is going though which is mostly UP not OUT
ОтветитьHow do i do an ollie while moving
ОтветитьMan this helped alot with not only my pop , but my ripped shoes aswell. Lifing your foot literally prolongs the durability of your shoes.
ОтветитьHe doesn't have to brag he's a sponsored skater every intro because his skills do the talking
ОтветитьI was doing it right the whole time
ОтветитьWhy does he look like the “i am a doctor” ig
ОтветитьThat shi wrong
ОтветитьThis guy makes me want to buy a skateboard
ОтветитьBro is doing gods work because sliding made transitioning to flip tricks so difficult, this is what we needed to hear back in 08
ОтветитьLol but ninja kicks
ОтветитьSlide your foot and everybody, other than you, will bring their slide foot back into position. True story.
ОтветитьGood solution to a non existent problem. Is this engagement bait?
ОтветитьWhy your foot landed on the front two bolts when you had it in the middle on that last clip? Looks like a slide to me
ОтветитьYour first ollie you literally slide your front foot to level out the board, which is why you slide the fiot in the first place
Ответить"I want to give back to skateboarding. I want to coach kids to make them all the same. Make them all like me or Nyjah"
ОтветитьFuck sliding
Ответитьthe problem is some newer skaters take the idea of sliding their foot literally, when most people who are telling them to slide their foot actually mean “drag your front foot and use the grip to carry and level the board”
Ответитьokay but you def need some type of slide, might not feel like it to someone as good as you. I feel like the board would rocket and not catch my back foot before touching the ground again.
ОтветитьHoly shit you just put into words what I’ve been trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong all these years
ОтветитьDon’t let the braille dude hear this 🤣
ОтветитьThat pop looks so clean.
ОтветитьYou’re wrong about this. I’ve never done an Ollie but I’m sure you’re wrong.
ОтветитьNot being able to really ollie after days of trying one of the most “basic” yet essential tricks after watching every video with the word ollie in the title was what made me quit skateboarding. I’ve never heard this tip before so i’ll try it next time i get a board in hand. Hopefully it works
Ответить😂 i been sliding my front foot for 20 years, never had a problem
ОтветитьThey not wrong if you are stationary which is where most beginners will start
