It looks like you’re only recording view input from the right eye, which makes sense in VR. Is there a choice? Just an observation; great content thnx!
ОтветитьYour discount code is $10 not 10%. I was gonna pull the trigger at 10% off lol.
ОтветитьSome of the passing shots watching the pilot were beautiful.
ОтветитьWow buy me one, dude.
ОтветитьAwesome video ! Thanks ...
ОтветитьWhat are the computer specs?
ОтветитьVery nice !!!! The video quality of the Crystal looks superb !!!
ОтветитьHey Longshot, for those of us who've gotten violently ill using VR headsets previously, what's your impression in comparison to previous headsets? Worth it, or stay with Track IR 5 & a nice huge monitor?
ОтветитьChinese....hell no
ОтветитьLol...PIMAX must not be clear enough to clearly see the radar switch in quiet mode...ROFL
Ответитьi think that's the most missiles i've seen locked onto one target LMAO
ОтветитьWelcome to VR!
ОтветитьYou did pretty well with your radar in silent mode.
ОтветитьWould love to see you jump into some VR WW2 missions? Nobody's doing it...
ОтветитьHaha, nice but... you lost. Hahaha...Love your videos. You are always having fun. I really enjoy the videos you do with growling sidewinder, You two have great chemistry together, and it is great to watch.
ОтветитьBare bones it's $800.00
In this economy?!? Pass. I have a family to feed.
Very cool product review
ОтветитьIs it just me or do the trees look less detailed than I'm used to?
Thinking about getting a VR headset as well.
Anyway, what map is that?
Pimax Chrytal or Chrystal light, that is the question. Is the foveal tracking not a MUST in term of performance ?
ОтветитьImho the highlights are disapointing. They look washed out. The screen door is also visible there. Anyway still great headset. I also wish Pimax made some magnetic smart tags. You know, some little plastic/electronic things that I could magneticly (or 3M tape) attach to my cockpit in few places so I could see some point markers in VR. This could be easier to find some specific buttons on my SimPit.
ОтветитьAnother awesome video
ОтветитьCan someone explain why "%" is blurred? YT insanity?
ОтветитьNo matter what VR set you use, the fun ends when DCS can't maintain stable frames. It will happen sooner or later, no matter how powerful your PC is. DCS is pathetic in the context of VR in the long run. Cool as an experience, awful as a routine flying.
ОтветитьThe F16 is still badass even though your radar wasn’t working properly. I own the original Pimax Crystal before the Light came out and original is still amazing. I am waiting for the next level in VR to come out and that is the Pimax Crystal SUPER which hopefully will be out next month.
Ответитьwow i enjoyed watching your vid :D
ОтветитьLove the legacy skin on the 16❤️
ОтветитьWith a failing targeting system, you fought very well. Bravo!!!
ОтветитьYou did pretty well without a wingman!
ОтветитьIm sitting here hollering at you. You're in quiet mode. Turn your radar on.
ОтветитьVR frame drops can be fixed with a drop-in upgrade to a 5800X3D (or whole upgrade to a 7800X3D or coming 9800X3D.) DCS thrives on cache
ОтветитьLOL you can't record how it looks in VR.
It's useless to for commenting about details in the video because it's 2d recording not actual VR view. Same recording would be if you were using Oculus Rift from 2016 or Crystal from 2024. Just yours game level of details/settings and fps are true nothing else.
Well done . What is,the name of the song in the video ?
ОтветитьI won’t play DCS without a VR headset ever again, I started when I bought a used Rift S 4 years ago, and on that headset I couldn’t read a single F16 button…
The only problem with VR recording is that the view is offset to one side
Wow, that was amazing, thanks for the ride-along! I continue to be impressed by your airmanship and your fighting skills. The Pimax looks pretty impressive. I noticed that the out-of-cockpit views were really crisp, smooth and nearly photorealistic. The in-cockpit views looked quite a bit less detailed (panel views were good but less so thru the glass). Was that a result of editing? Lastly, do you get a better sense of depth with the Pimax? I find it harder to visually reacquire a target in 2D, wondering if the VR headset changes that?
Ответить7 reference… nice
ОтветитьAre you and GS buddies in real life? Would love an IRL of you guys sometime.
ОтветитьDCS has always had trouble with VR. Probably the best the can do with an outdated graphics engine.
Ответить💥💥💥👍👌
ОтветитьAre the colors that vibrant
ОтветитьWhat are your system specs?
ОтветитьIs there a screen door effect with the Crystal? I have the 5k xr, which has a small amount of screen door effect. I’ve held off on the upgrade, so that Pimax can work out all the bugs.
Ответитьthe fact that you're running this with a 4070 super with decent graphics settings is excellent!
ОтветитьOne of the best videos I've seen so far. Great editing.
ОтветитьAwesome video, dude.
ОтветитьLemme guess , you can’t run this on an AMD 7800
ОтветитьGreat video man. Quick question. I have the CL and have not yet set it up for DCS. I see your still using your mouse to control the cockpit controls. Is there a setting for this or does it just work this way? Also I have been considering the F16. I currently run the F18 mainly. Reason is the F16 has the side sticks and I may mount them to my sim rig. Let me know thoughts on comparison. Thanks man
ОтветитьSeen a lot about the Pimax,I have quest 3 I got a few months ago so maybe next upgrade
