Having the players involved in map creation is an idea I've been playing with for when I eventually run my first game, so I'm happy to hear someone else's opinion on it! I only thought of having a hometown, never about where the players would like to go so that's a super interesting idea I might just steal. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьWhat do you mean by "delver" here?
ОтветитьInteresting video
ОтветитьThis is such a great resource!
ОтветитьWoW
ОтветитьI don’t know anything about this “game” but looks like fun ! I am 80 some years old ,I 👵🏻🥴 🙀👵🏻😱🖖🏼👽🐲👍🏻know ! But you “kids “. Are learning and that’s 👍🏻good !
Ответитьcool.

ОтветитьI keep coming back to this series to be inspired. I love the way you think about game design, and the way you’re sticking to your style gives me confidence in my own! Best of luck with Arcane Ugly going forwards!
ОтветитьI want to play this!
ОтветитьCan i hack your game now ? 🤣
Ответить🤔 I am working on a simplified version of D&D 5E. That can be played solo or with a group and friendly for anyone new to the genre. Using all the 7 dice from D&D a combination of a card system and tables to keep the story moving. Because i struggle to find people in my area who are interested in D&D. A lot of them tell me it's too many rules 🤷 Beginner friendly is more of the emphasis.👍
ОтветитьWtf is "adverturing?" And did you really think making had an e in it?
ОтветитьBecause of this man and the this video I am halfway through my game called bane of humanity TTRPG (post apocalyptic zombie wasteland) (I’m 12)

This inspired me to make my own tabletop rpg, only problem is I love numbers. I realized there was a problem when a calculator was pretty much required at the table.

Ответить"The internet is awesome for finding anything in the world that you were looking for, but book are great for finding things you didn't know you were looking for."
Now that's a phrase that i'll carry for the rest of my life
Favorite part
"Something catostrofic can happen"
It killed me🤣🤣
DRUNKENS & DRAGONS! Runehammer Hankrin Fernale FTW
ОтветитьI do something similar I play with 2d6 as a standard roll, if a character should be proficient at whatever it is they roll 3d6, if that type of character wouldn't be proficient in said task they only roll 1d6, for example a fighter type character could roll 3d6 to try to break down a door but wizards aren't typically strong so 1d6 for them for the same task, whereas a rogue isn't strong but also not really weak so just the normal 2d6 chance for them
As for checks/questions I roll 3 Fate/Fudge dice for a Yes but, Yes, Yes and or No but, No or No but answer depending on how many plus or minus symbols appear
Holy shit if this somehow becomes an app it will blow up
Ответить"Then I watched a bunch of content creators talking about their favorite games"
Woah, researchception.

ОтветитьWhat books do you find the most helpful?
ОтветитьI'm back... Used a diablo I style item created based on your smiley mace
ОтветитьTrying to create my top and this was the best match for me. Unfortunately this is more fantasy oriented while I am going for superpowers and gun game.
Looks like I will keep looking.
btw the system seems interesting.
I couldn't find your game pdf... So I got a copy of knave and hacked it up as you video shared... Only using my instincts.
I love what you inspired here
Your videos are neat. Your cinematography is novel. I just keep rewatching these videos... Love the art... The video effects.. And your review of knave...
ОтветитьThis reminds me of an rpg I made to play with my family called Myth & Magic (M&M) where all challenges were resolved by pulling m&ms out of a bag. Also, all spells were created on the fly by mashing together 3 different different words on a table. It was incredibly weird and a great time.
Ответитьwe will watch your career with great interest.
ОтветитьHis drawings are like a super evolved kid's drawings
ОтветитьRecently had an idea for a sci-fi tabletop game inspired by things like Warhammer, Infinity, the Halo Series, and Gears of War. You know mixing some war horror with sci-fi and adding quite a bit of future tech and futuristic wonder in general (think like city of tomorrow type wonder) but always wondered how to figure out to go about it. Gonna do a bit more research but this video helped quite a bit just in overall pushing forward my view of how best to go about it
ОтветитьI found you more or less randomly and I am absolutely stunned by your video style. Great stuff!
ОтветитьOSR!
Ответитьmc, do u solo rpg?
Ответить
