Good one. I had this a few weeks ago 👍👍
ОтветитьThere’s a beer you don’t see much. I remember it being good, but haven’t had one in years.
ОтветитьCheers the John Lennon and Paul McCartney of beer reviewers
ОтветитьWorld Class! This is a very good beer, and you said it best Jay. I could drink this every day and never get tired of it. 👍🏼
ОтветитьI've always enjoyed this beer. I think I'll grab it today matter of fact!
ОтветитьPub near my house in New Jersey has Spaten all year round. Few months on pull. Other months in bottle. Like it a lot.
ОтветитьI like green bottles ....that's why I'm here ....but Spit on ......I'm not sure about that !
ОтветитьYin and yang aligned. Many thanks for making my day. As always . . . "Drink Better Beers". From Cape Town, Cheers!
ОтветитьI love this beer. Cheers
ОтветитьCool bottle for sure. Would love to try it. 🍻
ОтветитьSpaten, one of my favorite German Beers, but I prefer it on tap, so lovely if you can find it on tap...prost Jay!
ОтветитьI drink PBR and vodka shots when I watch your reviews. Thanks for showing the many varieties of beer that I should avail myself of. Premium beers are so spendy these days. Great review gentlemen!
ОтветитьSolid stuff for sure. As to the bottle size, of course prefer 12 then 11.2 oz. But to other euro brewers defense while sure they could do it, expect most don’t want to have to alter their production setup (& take on extra associated cost) just to accommodate USA market. I won’t kill then for that and keep grabbing 16.9’’s when possible & 11.2’s when not.
ОтветитьCanebrake is the best. Seriously try it.
ОтветитьI just lost my dad today and my favorite to watch is you
ОтветитьI'm going to get this beer again to review. I did it once but it was in a Bad setting. I couldn't really stay focused because music and a lot of things were happening but I definitely love the Optimator. Fun challenge guys 👍🏾😁
ОтветитьI have never seen Spaten in a green bottle, there is "rule"(it's more some sort of joke like) for German beer drinkers from the middle to the south "if a beer comes in a green bottle it's just not good" beers from the north regions of Germany comes in green bottles thats why brands like Beck's and Jever f.e., Holsten or this bad Veltines all 1 out of 10 for me, just yikes, they sell the Spaten in brown bottles in Germany, for me Spaten is one of the better south Bavarian beers, rating 7 out of 10.
I have seen your reviews about the Hofbräu Hell and Dunkel, both arround 6 out of 10, i like the Dunkel a bit more.
Do you have a PO Box? I'd like to hear your opinion about some of my favorite brewerie beers from Thuringia.
First time I found some 6 packs today and bought one. Seems more Eurolagerish than a Munich Helles, despite being the first pale lager from Munich. I can't really place a comparable beer off the top of my head but I feel it kinda reminds me of Becks and Moosehead, not exactly glowing praise given the $11/6 pack price bracket. To me it has a fair bit of sweetness without enough bitterness or malt to offset to be very enjoyable for me. Bitburger is world class but sometimes it's not the sort of thing I would want to drink a whole lot of or super often due to the bitterness. Paulaner Munich Helles I would say is best beer I've ever had in terms of not being tiring at all, whether it's the first or the last, it isn't fatiguing at all while being world class, if that's the only beer I could drink I really wouldn't be too distressed. I haven't had a whole lot of Munich Helle's, just the Paulaner and the Benediktiner (a long time ago mind you), those two definitely seem distinct from this despite being all in the same style. The third I had I poured into a glass and I noticed as well as in the video that it did not have any real head when poured despite being quite fresh.
ОтветитьThat's actually not what they serve in Germany. That's called a Dortmunder or export beer.
ОтветитьIt’s a brilliant beer.
