Oh Congratulations! I just subscribed to your channel and found out we have something in common! Enjoy your mission. We served in the Canary Islands about 12 years ago with the YSA. It was a challenge but so glad we did it. Be safe and happy. I am happy especially now that I found your channel. I am not a quilter but might like to try and easy kit.

Great my sewing group the Sew and Sews we do hundres of Little Dresses for Africa we make little dresses and britches for boys and wrap around skirt and Santi's panties for girls good luck you two it's a calling and very rewarding!

You will love Africa, it’s a magical place. I lived in Angola for 4 years right on the coast. You will be missed here, but you will be loved and appreciated there. Do Good Work.

Three months ago ( when you did the announcement) I was battling with my life at the hospital. Has been 3 months of pain and getting back to normal again. Almost die. So, even we will miss you, is now you have to do other things, and feel happy. You will be ok and having fun.

Safe travels on your mission. We are LDS too, and would love to serve a couples mission sometime in the future.

Would love to share a sewing project with you if you’re interested. Hygiene kits that can be taken to the women there and then taught to the women—so they can make their own. It makes such a difference in the lives of the women and young girls.

I just came home from Rwanda where I first went in 2012 to teach sewing or a group of girls in the Noel orphanage. Rwanda is a beautiful country called the land of a thousand hills.
