This really gives my Pentium IV Integrated Graphics a run for its money
ОтветитьIntel HQ: "Ben Eater built one in a cave! With a box of scraps!!"
ОтветитьPair it up with your 16 bit cpu
Ответитьi like how this is filmed in such a way that it appears to be in a featureless void. this is an electronics nerd demiurge's pocket dimension
ОтветитьNOW MAKE PCIE!!
ОтветитьI don’t know anything about this but this interesting AF
ОтветитьIts crazy to know that even small and smallest componenet uses electrons just electrons
ОтветитьThis is 🤯🤯
ОтветитьAmazing video, thanks, man
ОтветитьBro is going to make his own rtx 4090 ti super
ОтветитьCan you build a circuit that displays on to a Fan blade? When the fan blade spins it shows the image. I've been wondering how that works.
ОтветитьMy tiny brain can’t comprehend this
ОтветитьI always knew computer science is boring. I just never realized how boring.
ОтветитьFun fact: this video card has now evolved to the GPU you know and love, the RTX4090
ОтветитьCGA to Hercules graphics: look what they have to do to mimic a fraction of our power
ОтветитьCan it run doom
ОтветитьWhen you realize this was 5 years ago… BUT THAT WAS 2019…
ОтветитьRoda gta?
ОтветитьCan it run doom ?
ОтветитьDo you want me to get you a glass of water?
Ответить"Count Zero interupt: Upon recieving an interrupt, decrement the counter to zero"
ОтветитьYeah but can it run crysys?
ОтветитьI'm an EE so this is what I call fun!
I once did a project using a Motorola chip and RF modulator to display my computer data to a TV screen. This was back in 1993, so it was awesome back then. 🤓
I really admire this video for going through the whole process to make our own video card. I think that low res image is beautiful!
I'd like to get more into GPUs to do the amazing stuff I've seen them do. Learning this VGA stuff is helpful to understanding the modern HDMI standard.
Thank you for this awesome video. 👍
Bro you’re doing great, but why u don’t grab an MCU and programme it like that !!!
That would be more functional and realistic
Whatever this maybe a complementary step after understanding the little things, so I hope u jump ur amazing videos to the next level
A strange question, but where do you learn these things?
ОтветитьThe important question is, can it play Doom? 😆
ОтветитьEveryone thinking of Nvidia's 50 series cards and me watching how to make a video card
ОтветитьIts so bizzare to watch the technology teach me how it works while using the same technique
ОтветитьThe inside of these xtal oscillators are actually really interesting. A slice of quartz and a tiny tiny IC, often on ceramic
ОтветитьI first watched this video a couple years ago and didn't understand anything, since then I took a applied electronics class at uni and now I understand everything. It's incredibly impressive to have this much patience and I'm sure it's as fun to do as it is to watch. I can finally say great work after all these years :)
ОтветитьI didn't like CRTs. There's something odd about sitting around all day with a gun firing things at your face.
ОтветитьAnyone else here getting their mind blown in 2024?
ОтветитьThat looks like a nitebright 😅
ОтветитьNVIDIA RTX been real quiet since this dropped
ОтветитьBut can it display Bad Apple?
ОтветитьSuper boring.
ОтветитьYou should do a revision of your 8bit computer series, and teach people how to assemble it, and you could possibly make it 16bit.
ОтветитьI like yoir voice
Ответитьamazing
ОтветитьWhat about making a video card just using transistors 💀
Ответитьidk why I’m watching this on thanksgiving morning. but it’s f amazing.
Ответитьand that's kids why engineers are badass
ОтветитьSo what is the best cpu paired with this?
ОтветитьOk, now the term "Plug & Pray" makes more sense! 😂 Thx for the informative video! 👌
ОтветитьDon't break a pin
Ответитьcan it run gta 6 :/
ОтветитьThe most important question is can it run doom
ОтветитьI guess. Now we prefer to spend 1 year to work on a RTX4090, At least in my country this is the faster way to get there. 🤣😅
