ОтветитьI was expecting him to say high fructose corn syrup (which is bad enough), maltodextrin is just as bad, worse in some ways…. They are both absolutely wrecking our health tho, and the spike in diabetes as one of the top diseases in America, especially in CHILDREN, is directly linked to both of these…. I’m really really hoping RFK jr keeps his word and reforms agriculture & the food industry in America 🙏🏽

ОтветитьI used to use a small amount of maltodextrin with some protein powder during extremely intense workouts that lasted more than 45min. It gave me the energy to keep going and push a little harder. Probably not the best solution im hindsight. Anyone got a good goto mid-workout drink?

There are 3 billion men, women and children who don't get to eat on a daily basis, and you cellulite queens are worried about "the wrong kind of sugar"... ОтветитьI saw a package of processed dried soup, you just add water. Maltodextrin was the MAIN ingredient.
ОтветитьLike most things it's only harmful in large amounts, a little bit in your food is not going to kill you, if it's in excess then yeah probably avoid it.

Ответитьyea i dont even have a sweet tooth..im fine w/ no sweet sugar at all..cinnamon is all id never need for sweetness & its antiglucose anticancer..but its the non-sweet carbs that lowkey fck us up..after being keto on & off for years now..i get sooo sick after just 1 cheat meal w/ flour or starch..tears me up..which also means my leaky gut hasnt completely healed yet..more coconut oil needed..but i drink too much i vomit it all up & got herx flu for a week

ОтветитьThe other day I ate Activa Dailies, thinking it was yogurt I did not read the label and I was so bloated i couldn’t button my shirt so I looked at the ingredients and it contained modified food starch which I found out has maltodexin in it. Two days I could not eat I was so bloated and felt horrible….its Pure poison in my opinion. When you eat clean and then you eat something like that your body reacts very harshly.

ОтветитьYes, maltodextrin is also called as a hidden sugar, because it's in too many processed products, dat claim to be sugar free n healthy, dat include supergreen powders etc. Ever since I learnt of maltodextrin, I have started d practice of reading d ingredient list to compare brands. Initially it took me a lot of time to zero in on the right products, but now dat I have a table of all d good products or brands out there. Its much easier. I still do a perfunctory check on d ingredient list of my ok'd products to make sure they r still safe.

Nigerian here, when I heard carb, my mind went to the carbs we eat here and I was wondering which it is and what could be so dangerous about it? Untill I heard "malto.......my mind zoomed out of the audio while I simultaneously came down from that fear level I was at.

ОтветитьI grew up eating fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs from our chickens, chicken, and freshly caught fish from the lake. My mother hardly bought any canned food. My father would make yogurt every evening and in the morning, we all had fresh yogurt for breakfast. We were all thin and healthy. We did not smoke or drink alcohol; however only some red wine on holidays. We always had dark chocolate at home and drank chai with plenty of freshly squeezed lemons. Lots of fresh soups, too.
