who else also havent watched the mario movie?
ОтветитьHonestly it's dumb these "critics"-a minority- even have such a big say. They're just one group with little diversity. While audiences are almost everyone who watched the movie, whit a lot of diffrent opinions which together make a much better ratting.
ОтветитьIf a movie sounds good i will watch it i dont care wat people say
ОтветитьThe Mario movie was the first in film movie my little brother ever watched. He was 4 and shushing anyone that talked
ОтветитьWho’s back after the audience reviews were hidden from every Disney Star Wars project?
ОтветитьTodays lesson: Dont give a fck about critic revievs, trust the audience ones
ОтветитьRebello was in this video
ОтветитьIn my experience, I don't trust critics or audiences. They don't know what they're talking about. I get baffled seeing either side, and Mario Movie I think is a special case where neither really supported my thoughts on the movie
ОтветитьThe value of a critic that you know the preferences of cannot be overstated.
For games, that individual for me was totalbiscuit. I knew what he liked, and I knew what he disliked. But more importantly I knew why he liked or disliked something, since my preferences didn't always align with his. May he rest in peace.
For movies, I haven't found anyone in particular to rely on, but what is said here mostly rings true. You don't necessarily need to agree with them, but you need to know why they rate something the way they do. That will allow you to make your own opinion.
The greatest showman was probably hated by critics because there was a joke about critics in the movie 💀
ОтветитьI might be late but my favorite critic is Amanda the jedi
ОтветитьHighboi
ОтветитьPersonally i just ignore the critics as i am not a citric, I'm an audience.
ОтветитьSchaffrillas Productions is the GOAT🤣
ОтветитьWhy would someone ever care about a critics opinion? You don’t normally watch a movie to judge it.
ОтветитьWhat your saying is that the film industry is war profiteering!?
Ответитьor it was rated low because they watched the OTHER mario movie...
ОтветитьI watch more satirical movie reviews like Ryan George's Pitch Meeting, Screen Junkies' Honest Trailers, and the HISHE Team.
They're not exactly traditional movie reviews but through satire and humor, you really can get a lot of insight about what you will watch (but like, only the Honest Trailers are somewhat spoiler free, but I still watch movies I know the plot of, so your mileage may vary).
I think this kind of satirical way of covering movies can really teach you about the current movie landscape but also offer you a good opinion on whether something is really worth watching. You can tell if plots are thin, if characters are predictable, and if there's any kind of weakness in the content.
If it's a good movie, there's little nitpicking, but if it's bad, you can really get a laugh out of those reviews anyway.
critical drinker
Ответитьturning red was actually pretty good
ОтветитьMario is also a movie without any political nonsense like all the other Disney movies or big companies (but mostly Disney). Not to mention that a website gets useless as soon as companies can influence it and Rotten Tomatoes is influenced by companies. It’s proven that they remove critics and does other bad things to boost the critics and make bad movies looking better.
So the best thing is what you recommended; follow people with a similar taste, don’t rely only on the numbers (never forget, the critics loved Cuties!) and listen to the word of mouth.
Game theory
😅😂😂😂😂😂
This is what happens when critics are for sale.
ОтветитьFor me, the reviewer I follow is French, Joueur Du Grenier.
Ofc it's because I, myself, am french, but overall, he's interesting
Remember RT gave Cuties a 84% score.
Yeah...
i thought that critics watched the mario movie from the 90s by accident
EDIT: he made that joke, but i type'd it in the first minutes, so im not copying
Rotten tomatoes Is not always right
ОтветитьGoji Center? Is that you?
ОтветитьComing back a year later to thank Mat for helping me with college homework for theater. Keep up the good work, guys!
ОтветитьProjeto Corneta!
ОтветитьYeah, The Critics are Complete Jerks. Hope Nintendo DMCAs You.😂
ОтветитьCritics don't like fun movies. That's it
ОтветитьI’m just saying this. But there are probably some audience people out there in the world who saw turning red and liked it. I liked it. True not every audience score liked it. But some people probably liked it. I’m just saying because mat pat said only critics liked turning red. And that’s my opinion. Same goes for other Pixar movies wether they may be popular or not
ОтветитьI dont know about u guys… BUT THERE WAS JULES (1min 14 secs)
Ответить"I'm not saying it's good. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying the truth" - Matpat
Ответить1 word, nostalgia
Ответитьi hated it
it was repitited and it did not have evental

ОтветитьI'm a generic audience member with the mind of a critic. Whenever I watch a movie, I'm always pouring over every aspect of it looking for some to analyze, something to discuss amd share my thoughts on, but sometimes, it's good to watch a movie just to enjoy it. There are a movies that I unironically love despite not being very deep or thought-provoking, most notably Battleship and Cowboys and Aliens.
ОтветитьHere's another great example for you: my favorite movie of this year, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. It landed a 68 percent score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes versus a 93 percent audience score. From a critical perspective, there are a lot of aspects of this film that are really well done, mainly the aesthetic of the film and the effort the crew put into creating it. The crew did a fantastic job of making this movie feel like something that was made in the 60s or 70s, but plotwise, there's really not much to discuss. It's just a fun action flick with some stellar production quality, and for what it is, it rocks. You should definitely check it out if you haven't already.
ОтветитьI LIKED IT WHEN MAT MADE THEORIES!!!!! The new FT guy (he’s so bad I didn’t even bother to learn his name) gets WAY too dark!
(Also, matpat is infinitely funnier)
I think „cinema sins” and that type of content has really ruined movies for a lot of people and made most people think they shouldn’t like the movie of critics don’t. I’ve even fallen victim to this mindset too. Is being a cliche movie really a crime?
ОтветитьInteresting, critics don’t know how to have fun, but I think they do realize that movies we love nowadays don’t have story, which was everything a movie used to be. Now we all want something we can just watch and enjoy without any real story line, we’re just there for the visuals and references. The critics see the movie making process degrade over time, maybe they’re trying to warn us?
ОтветитьPercy Jackson is my favriote movie
ОтветитьThe best reviewer is Alex myers
