Those can actually be reconfigured for portrait mode. The camera plate can be bolted flat instead of at a right angle.

Nice video. However, a few obvious questions: What is the max weight supported by this unit? i.e. can a Sony FS-7 be placed on the unit? Also, what is the battery life when using the AA batteries? What is the distance range for the transmitter? And, video basics 101.. stop using the side of the face shot. We spend more time looking at the side of his face vs the front shot or simply doing some real closeups/cut-aways on what he is showing/talking about. The side face shot is useless.
