ОтветитьThanks Gents; nailed it! Must see the APac countries in person; jaw dropping compared to the blather from the press. Matched perfectly my impressions traveling around Asia for work. Next up: please travel through Europe and suss out investible opportunities. Thanks again!

If JD is considered the Macies of China, how did Alibaba cone across?
I had to laugh at the analogy of reintroducing predators to the Japanese market and you two were over there.
Cheers

ОтветитьThanks from Germany!
ОтветитьSo we all moving to Japan?
ОтветитьSuch a great episode! I'm downloading it on my phone to listen again.
We should send you to different countries every week.
Thanks for this. Toby sounds exhausted.
ОтветитьNext time you guys are in Japan, give me a shout out. I know the Japan Company Handbook like the back of my hand, and have produced an annualized alpha of 30% over the Topix by employing Buffet's "start with the A's" approach. Happy to help with translation, too.
ОтветитьHanging out for a fresh markets in turmoil edition! Need a Bill cameo
Ответить9.9.6 all you need to hear to understand why they'll catch/eclipse the west. Great ep
ОтветитьIt was a nice American Century while it lasted.
ОтветитьYou guys need to talk to with Ryan O'Connor (Crossroads Capital)
ОтветитьYes this was a stunningly good episode. Someone should make a montage of the eye witness accounts of China’s factories which is kind of topical and supports the idea that the bringing manufacturing to America is a pipe dream. Tariffs will instead crash the global economy.
ОтветитьBest episode, yet! Really enjoyed it.
ОтветитьShould have tried the tea instead of coffee. It's very different to what we drink in the West.
ОтветитьGreat episode!
ОтветитьBest episode ever.
ОтветитьTRUMP set the bar at a new low, yo. Can only go up from here?!?!
ОтветитьI got married in Japan in April 1990, I was pretty sure that was the market peak, no way it could go higher. Japan was insanely expensive at that time and as you both probably discovered prices are now very reasonable especially considering the level of service.
ОтветитьAwesome episode!
Favorite all around podcast this year!
how many stocks in JT's basket of ner-nets?
Ответитьgreat episode lads. enjoy your spring break holidays Tobi!
ОтветитьThe interview episodes are great, but it's nice to sprinkle these in as well. Really enjoy listening to Jake and Tobias give their opinions on things instead of deferring to the guest.
ОтветитьDeep Seek was built on Open AI, no?
ОтветитьFANUC has dark factories in Japan decades ago...I was researching the company at the time. They manufacture machines that make machines.
