This will only work in Windows 3.1. He can't get into real mode on modern OS. BIOS interrupts aren’t supported in protected or long mode. Modern OS and GPU will not accept this code, GPU are sandboxed behind the driver. If you're looking for a proper solution, check out the Skia Graphics Engine, fully open-source GPU-accelerated 2D graphics library. Written in C++, great documentation.

If you're getting GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE error, append -fno-pic to flags in makefile
