Dealing with concurrency in an event-sourced NoSQL product catalog
Description: In the presentation, we discuss the challenges we faced when introducing MongoDB and its corresponding C# driver in our event-sourced product catalog.
As the rather low-level C# MongoDB driver can pose difficulties in handling concurrent requests, we will show how we managed to write C# extensions for the MongoDB driver allowing us to circumvent these issues.
Furthermore we will give some insights on practical techniques for improving the performance and reliability of our product catalog.
19:00 - 19:30: Talk 2
Emanuele Bartolesi, Azure Instructor| Author@ | Microsoft MVP
No more local development environment with GitHub Codespaces
Codespaces is a new GitHub service that allows you to create a development environment directly in the browser.
This obviously allows it to be used from any device and above all to create an environment with specific versions of libraries and tools, thus saving a lot of precious time.
In this session, we will see how to start using Codespaces and also take advantage of its integration with Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio.
19:30 - 20:00: Talk 3
