Finding inspiration for my CB550F build. I built my first bike from the frame and engine before I rode it, a CB360T. Then traded that for a CB750K6 that I still own, same process with some minor fabrication. Now... this 550. 30k miles on nothing but classic Honda's, and all of them with great smiles per gallon. You'll find a cork pad on my tank to rest my helmet on just like the 'ol NSU's!

Cafe Racers are some of the coolest looking bikes but also the some of the most uncomfortable bikes.

Well I’m sorry to disappoint with my tale as my heyday or rather my start biking days were 1965 I’m still biking but looking back apart from my mates who I miss I’ve no hankering to go back to unreliable badly braking oozing oil ( well apart from my Vellocette venom) 60’s bikes mind you after riding a few bmw 1200 tractors I don’t rate them either. My favourite from yesteryear was a Honda Benly or my third bike after ditching my unreliable Norton 650 ss ( I never understood what ss stood for) was a Moto Morini. The only thing I hanker for from that era was my red racing leathers not that I did any of that secondly my old kangol crash helmet with Yogi bear and boo boo on it. I know I’m a sad old guy with prostate cancer but heck I can laugh at myself

I have a custom electric Cafe Racer even tho it ain't gas and can't top 80kph still has a charm and where i live 32kph is the legal limit for electric bikes so in away i'm a new generation rebel in the E-bike community
