Mighty are the Ainur, and mightiest among them is Melkor; but that he may know, and all the Ainur, that I am Ilúvatar, those things that ye have sung, I will show them forth, that ye may see what ye have done. And thou, Melkor, shalt see that no theme may be played that hath not its uttermost source in me, nor can any alter the music in my despite. For he that attempteth this shall prove but mine instrument in the devising of things more wonderful, which he himself hath not imagined.
ОтветитьLuthiel: Oji-San is so big Nyaaaa!! 💋💋💖💖
Morgoth: 👁👄👁 I Wanna put something inside her!...wait...where is my third Simi?!
Please make the Frank Underwood's video
ОтветитьHalfway through going to have to come back to digest. It’s a lot to take in. Thank you because the books are a little too much for me to try and read but I love the world Tolkien created.
ОтветитьHave had to watch this in several sittings, because I can only handle about a half an hour of proper nouns at a time before I just succumb to a migraine
Fucken Tolkien, I swear to god, I love the man and his work, but why do there have to be so many proper nouns xD
666k views. Nice.
ОтветитьJust wanna point out that Tulkas didn't really even care about building Arda, he just heard Melkor was causin trouble and he wanted a good wrastle.
ОтветитьMore powerful than Sauron? Wow
ОтветитьOne hunting fact about Morgoth and his pure evilness its the fact that the elves he tortured and turned into orcs never got to see the undying lands or the halls of mandos. The race of men and Dwarves at least got to go back to eru but elves were bound to arda and the ones in morgoths captivity got something so much worse than death by war or disease as they are immortal.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThe silmarillion is my all time favorite book and most it is due to morgoth he may be evil but man does he look good doing it
ОтветитьI truly appreciate the work you put into this channel, however the constant ad interruptions on this specific video kills the flow of the storytelling
ОтветитьEvil Eye. I humbly request, any JoJos Bizarre Adventure villain
ОтветитьSauron was known as Mairon at this time. He wasn't known as Gorthaur until later on the first age.
ОтветитьThe elf that saved maedhros was fingon not finrod!! just clarifying.
ОтветитьAll he did was sing a different tune than Eru Illuvatar. He basically just invented rock and roll and ol‘ man illuvatar banished him
ОтветитьI can't get over the fact that melkor became evil and brought evil chaos and discord into creation purely because he got mad that he couldn't find the flame imperishable, which is the divine power of life and creation, within the LIFELESS Void. Like bruh yeah ofc it wasn't there. He should've asked Eru, who literally has the flame imperishable at all times because he is the One, the bringer of life, light, knowledge and power. All things are made of and from Eru, even the secret fire. If melkor wasn't just stupid he wouldn't have had to ruin everything
ОтветитьTolkien really hogged all the creativity
ОтветитьMorgoth cannot win his goal is impossible
ОтветитьPut in my personal LOTR Cannon ❤🎉😊
Ответить"... from which we can derive information from ..."
So strange. I hear this all the time recently. You only need one "from" preposition there. Pick one.
✅ ... from which we can derive information
✅ ... which we can derive information from
❌ ... from which we can derive information from
It's like the kids front prepositions in order to sound fancy by not ending their sentence in a preposition, but then they end their sentence in a preposition anyway.
Ending English sentences with prepositions is perfectly fine, and has been for centuries.
I was just scrolling and the thumbnail right above this one was "Make your own kind of music" by Cass Elliot and I was like " That's what this guy did". 😄
ОтветитьROP2 came out today......watching this instead.
ОтветитьBookmarked for bed, can't wait! I learned about him years after I read LOTR many moons ago. I wish Tolkien wrote novels for his time period.
I'm glad Amazon didn't have the rights to this age with Morgath/Melkor. If rights are ever given, It's going to require brilliant writers, and a director/showrunner who knows what the f they are doing.
The narration of this is unlistenable. Is it AI? Every sentence is read like a question. Could have been really amazing with decent narration
ОтветитьWow so good I fell asleep man Tolkien is really such a great writer
ОтветитьThe sponsor side of your content makes it very hard to listen whilst driving, doing tasks or drifting off to sleep, other than that I will always tune in to see who you are doing next
ОтветитьI have this feeling that this guy has done a ton of research and pronounces everything the way tolkien intended.
However, i absolutely refuse to pronounce eru iluvatar that way.
Melkor=Satan
ОтветитьAmazing job
ОтветитьHe was so much more goth than anybody else in Middle Earth. He was the first to listen to The Bauhaus.
ОтветитьSimarillion nerd here; Melkor/Morgoth is fascinating because he was designed as the most powerful of the Ainuar, he was meant to be an evil and darkness equal to all the other gods so to speak (except varda and her Devine goodness and light). Eru the great creator in some way knew there had to be a balance between good and evil, therfore he was created so strong. Many great goods were brought into the world of middle earth but there was one and true great evil unmatched, much like Lucifer in biblical comparison; a fallen angel who's legacy carries on through Sauron to the end of middle earths days...to the passing of the elves. Truly an interesting beast to analyze, he was built for defiance, power, control and manipulation. He drove Sauron the strongest of Maiar into madness and obsession until eventually the good of that universe took control. Fantastic video. I appreciate all the research and effort involved. Cheers! (Sorry for any typos friends, drunk and passionate)
ОтветитьVery good video 👏. I enjoy your channel. How about a video on the White Witch from Narnia? Maybe one about the villains from the Star Trek universe or the Hunger Games?
ОтветитьMorgoth, rebelling against his creator and was cast out... Gee...where do you think Tolkien got that idea. Can you actually do vlog that isn't AI created ???
ОтветитьI like the fact that this episode is basically “Analyzing Evil: Satan”
ОтветитьFingon saved Maedhros
ОтветитьGuess he was a democrat
Ответитьdefinitly understood all of that!
ОтветитьEvil isnt even real
ОтветитьThis A.I. voice beats Morgoths terribleness
Ответитьwhy would god create evil and let it be strong and cause so much chaos?
ОтветитьTons of ads and a sponsor mention? Not even going to watch any further
ОтветитьI have a theory on the origin of Ungoliant and the Nameless Things. There were two discords in the music of the Ainur that were not resolved into Eru's theme, and these two discords were as much a part of the creation of the world as anything else.
ОтветитьMelkor didn't share in the gifts that Tulkas was given because Tulkas was created from Illuvatars consciousness after the creation of Arda and defended as the one weapon of the Valar that could not be overcome by Melkor not being one of his original kind.
That's how I read it
5mins have passed and he is yet to begin the video lol
ОтветитьI love that Feanor calls morgoth a jail crow. It implies that the term is used often. So these elves in the blessed realm occasionally end up in jail? Crazy to think. What’s the crime rate in Aman?
ОтветитьI think one of the most beautiful images/themes that Tolkien touched on is how despite Melkor kept trying to disrupt the song of Eru Iluvatar, Eru was still able to turn the discord into harmony.
ОтветитьSo Morgoth is the Satan of the Tolkein Legendarium, and Sauron is like his Darth Vader? Hmmm, interesting.
ОтветитьYou didn't analyse anything, you just gave a summary of the story of Melkor.
Ответить
