If you know of any disappearances that you think would fit this series and want to see covered on the channel, I'd love to hear them. Feel free to shoot me an email or reply to this comment! Have a great weekend! - Sean
ОтветитьWhy do you say 'viewer discretion is advised' ? It's so insufferable. Is your audience so abnormally emotionally unbalanced that the idea of reality sends them into a complete meltdown. Nothing you show or talk about warrants any sort of warning message.
ОтветитьI want to believe the first story is innocent but it’s a little suspicious that he’s “having a dream” about something so specific.
Ответить10/10 video as always
Ответить.....considered life jackets to be an unnecessary extravagance......? 🤦♂️
ОтветитьDang! I definitely wasn’t expecting to hear my home state, let alone my tiny hometown (Parkersburg, WV) on one of these videos.
ОтветитьI love your shows, well made 😊👍🏻
ОтветитьGlen and Bessie probably drowned but away from that the last person who saw them, 'the millionaire' would be the next logical thought.
ОтветитьFor the algorithm 👊
ОтветитьDoes anyone else remember when trump went england to step on that Irishmans neck? 😢
ОтветитьBroken telephone? Are you talking about the game called Chinese Whispers?
ОтветитьThat’s creep I live in Idaho
Ответитьthe mussolini connection is a reach, the war was over, he was long gone by Dec 45 and there where many Italians, and Italian Americans who had things to say about him
Ответитьwhat is the background music called ?
ОтветитьInteresting this poster story really pushed the anti fascism as a reason. Also that call would of been on a party line - So the operator called the wrong number?
ОтветитьI’ve heard of the disappearance of the Sodder children but I don’t think I knew about the tension between the father and the Italian community, especially about his views and opinions on Mussolini. It’s such a mysterious case. I think it’s possible that people from the Italian community could’ve been involved. I don’t think the Italian Mafia had anything to do with it because they don’t harm women or children. It’s bizarre how there were two people who said the circuit would start a fire and then a fire starts. I think they also could’ve been in on it. I think it’s really sad how to this day, no one knows what became of the Sodder children and if they’re even alive. The parents never found out what happened to their children and that’s really sad to think about.
ОтветитьI miss the old games like broken telephone!!
ОтветитьGreat
ОтветитьGlenn Hyde looks like Ian McKellen right?
ОтветитьThese stories are interesting but I wish they would ditch the background music. It's annoying
ОтветитьLouis Sodder.
I love brother Frankie.
Ilil Boys.
A90132 (or 35)
This is Louis Sodder
I love his brother, Frankie.
The little Boys (Italian double masculine, I, the plural, with lil or "little")
Age: 32 (or 35)
I believe this is just misread penmanship.
If it was written by a 2nd generation Italian American, who interchanged parental Italian and acquired American English slang, my interpretation would make much sense.
My grandmothers name was Bessie, born 1901 in Georgia. She was a gypsy, constantly traveling the US. Interesting woman. She died in the 1990s. Not a terribly common name, and upon her death we found her name was Mary Lou Odom. Never heard any variation of that name in our lifetimes. Mom had zero clue either. We don't know who Mary Lou Odom was, or if that was even our Grandmothers true name. Lots of mysteries around before folks could be tracked with SSN, DOB, Blood Type and DNA.
Ответитьas someone born and raised in pennsylvania, i can definitely say ive heard the first story [ with a few differences here and there among the telling ] hundreds of times…it’s nice to know that our community isn’t letting these poor children be forgotten
Ответить2 Best Bits :
"After reading reports of a film crew that had previously required rescue,
they decided if anyone could do it, they could"
"Life Jackets were an unnecessary expense"
My balls 🏀 🏈
ОтветитьAfter watching almost every popular caving disaster let's watch this 🙂
ОтветитьAlways watch this channel every night at bedtime.I can't get enough. 🩷🩷🩷
ОтветитьNo Enoch?
ОтветитьI can usually figure out major stories in just the first minutes, because I feel like I know them
all. But I’d never heard of the last story!!! That’s just awful!
This story has always bothered me… those poor parents. That father went to the ends of the earth searching for his kids; he seemed like an incredible dad.
On the thought of cremating 5 bodies completely… it would be difficult and very unlikely, but not altogether impossible. House fires resulting from arson often burn in very different patterns and there could have been pockets where the fire was much hotter. That being said, it would’ve been unlikely to leave no trace of five bodies unless they were all together in one of these pockets. It makes me very curious as to where these kids were sleeping and the other details of where the fire started.
All of that being considered, the whole thing just has so so many eerie and bizarre happenings around the arson— including almost-direct-threats of the house burning down with his kids inside— that it would have to be astronomical in terms of mathematical odds that some sort of natural occurrence happened to spark the fire, 11 people wouldn’t notice until the entire house was already a full inferno, somehow five kids get stuck inside with no sight or audible sound from them (I’d think screams for help would be likely), PLUS 2 large trucks suddenly breaking down AND the ladder going missing. All in the same time frame of half an hour or so.
I would love for someone to put that into numbers, bc it would have to be something like a one in a billion chance that it could happen to one kid in that way, leaving no sound or trace and all the other things happening. Add in the fact that it simultaneously happened to FIVE kids at the same time? Likely one in a trillion. Essentially, impossible odds. Whatever happened, I hope that whatever exists on the other side brought that family back together. That poor father deserves peace.
Love your style of storytelling, and this series.
ОтветитьAlgorithm comment. Channel deserves it
ОтветитьFor the algorithm 🫡
ОтветитьShe
ОтветитьBroken telephone?
ОтветитьRandom theory ima just throw in half way through the video, what if they went to land, lost their boat and in a helpless situation he killed himself, her knowing how it would look she tried to cover it up and change her identity
ОтветитьI can't remember the channel, but I watched the Glenn and Bessie story on another channel, and it was not nearly as balanced and 'kind' as this version. The other presenter insisted that Bessie didn't want to go, that Glenn forced her into it, that her eyes in pictures looked terrified (though I couldn't see terror that the presenter claimed was there), and so on. It's not hard to imagine that in 1928 (my mother was born in 1920, and I had living relatives growing up who were born in 1896 and 1906) a young woman would have been unable to resist or reject the proposals of a husband who was several years older and more authoritative than she. Women were taught to obey their husbands and even took a vow to obey their husbands in Protestant and civil marriage ceremonies. There was a sense in Protestantism and in civil law that a husband had the same authority over his wife as a father had over his child, so even if she didn't really want to go or had her doubts, she would have submitted and obeyed her husband's decisions unless she was extraordinarily independent for a woman in that time. (Having had a great-aunt born in 1906 who kept her own money during her two marriages, had a job in both marriages and even broke up her first marriage rather than move to where her husband wanted to live, I know how extremely unusual she was for her time as she told me the stories herself. Her sister, my grandmother, was much more ordinary for the time and went along with whatever her husband decided.)
ОтветитьSodder family case sound like local fire & police were part of the mob. Sheesh.
Ответить😮😮😮
ОтветитьBruh just imagine having 10 kids wtf lol
