What a powerful story! She judged too quickly without knowing the truth. Loved how he handled it with dignity and strength. Owning the lake? Epic twist—respect earned! 👏🏾🌊💼
Ответитьthat moment when Clarence calmly said: "Do you know who purchased this lake three years ago?” - chills! But here's the thing: why is it still so easy for people like Theresa to assume ownership over people just because they feel ownership over a place? This story isn't just satisfying - it's a mirror.
ОтветитьBoi this is exactly how whiteness acts, when whiteness thought it had the power it was you are trespassing, you’re not a resident, you don’t belong here, but when whiteness lost it’s perceived power Now it’s I don’t care who owns it I should have the right to use this lake no matter what?” The audacity of whiteness never ceases to amaze me!
ОтветитьLack of knowledge and information.
ОтветитьTo anyone watching this story and needing a little light—let these words be a small spark for your soul. The dark doesn’t get the final word. Hope is still here. 🕯
ОтветитьThis compelling story underscores that respect is hard-earned, not bestowed. Clarence’s poised dignity and unwavering strength in the face of adversity are profoundly inspiring, revealing true character. Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьDoh!
ОтветитьGreat news hoa lost this one f..k hoa
ОтветитьI love the story because I have been through similar situation
Ответитьinteresting story but I'd like to know was it Michael Jordan who owned the lake
ОтветитьGreat story!!!
ОтветитьGreat story… Clarence should of charged them yearly …
ОтветитьIt’s truly fascinating how a single encounter can reveal deeper issues within a community. This situation highlights the importance of understanding property rights and respecting one another, regardless of preconceived notions. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this impactful story.
ОтветитьDon't buy real estate subject to HOA, ever.
ОтветитьGreat stories but too long winded.
ОтветитьAt least he paid for it and not steal the land. The things you make yourself believe from guilt.
ОтветитьPeople are always to quick to feel that they are entitled to something they're not! I'm glad that Clarence stood his ground. Respect is earned, not awarded!
ОтветитьWhy does the woman in the thumbnail looks like Krissy Lynn, the expert BBC analyst????
ОтветитьRespect,,,,,, My thoughts about respect are that it is not completely earned ,it in itself folk deserves a degree of respect from the beginning after that, then it's earned. I see that without the initial degree of respect, civility is lost. For example, say you go to a restaurant a small one ,if the person at the register is curt and snaps at you without a smile or respect for your contribution to her job security. I bet -7 out 10 folk will not patronize that establishment again. Why ? They were disrespectful.
ОтветитьWow, this story gave me chills! So proud to see someone standing their ground with such power and grace. This is what owning your narrative looks like! 💪🏽
Who else was cheering when he revealed he owned the lake? Drop a 🙌 in the comments if you felt that moment!
I like these colonizer crashout stories.
ОтветитьThis is a deeper problem in the U.S. than HOAs.
ОтветитьTrue story? It's hard to tell these days.
ОтветитьHOA'S should be banned in America its like living in a Natzi camp
ОтветитьRespect is a spiritual value people should maintain alive always ♾️🌻🌞🙏 no matter the color
Or different class society
Poor or rich , respect as an individual
And a human being amen 😂🎉❤😂❤🎉
You can not own a lake. Lol 😂
Ответить“His real is name is Clarence…”
ОтветитьAbout power she Obviously Did Not have.. your skin tone doesn't under no way give a person power over another.. its narccissitic & delusional, stuffed with stank entitlement 😂😂
ОтветитьNice fairytale
ОтветитьGreat story. Can't judge ppl you'll get fooled every time
ОтветитьMaybe today feels heavy, but trust that there are still beautiful things waiting for you ahead.
ОтветитьPowerful and well written I only would like to know is this based on a true story or is true fiction
ОтветитьI feel like the character aged too quick from scene to scene.
ОтветитьWhat a satisfying twist! That Karen clearly underestimated him—owning the whole lake?! Talk about the ultimate power move! Who else loved that ending?
ОтветитьA blonde alien woman.
ОтветитьThis was a great story and reflects a huge issue in this world.
ОтветитьNot shocked at all.. HOA is nothing more than crossing guard on a power trip
ОтветитьThis true story touched up on SO many issues. I can relate as I am now a 66 yr old Black Man who benefitted from my Elders struggles. Some people can't accept Black generational wealth transference
ОтветитьWhite folk just can't imagine guarding your property by shotgun from the local sheriff.
ОтветитьAll the while knowing the all white jury will convict...worse, vigilantes will riot (Tulsa) without worry...
