Toyota Rav4 (2019-2022) Roadanvi 12.3 inch head-unit review part 2

I replaced my civic with an after market head unit, I had the same problem with the radio a lot of static too.

Thank you for the unbiased review man!! The wifi issue with the unit might be due to your phone’s hotspot. When you turn on wireless carplay, iPhone automatically turns off the wifi on your phone. Maybe that’s why you are unable to connect to it.

Any ideas on 2023 rav4 compatibility? Is there a way to have it work with 2023?

I got one of these units. The button issues you mention happen to a lot of us. I am getting a second unit as the first unit I used, the arrow buttons on my wheel are backwards and my speakers will constantly cut in and out depending on the cables position behind the unit. Other reviews state the same thing on Amazon. Also the radio connection is horrible. If my second unit has issues I will be returning them both and going with a different brand.

Will this unit support to 2020 rav4 hybrid, how can we order the higher version back lid panel.

With the OE headunit I use some android box called carlinkit, it transform the headunit into a tablet. I use my phone to made a wifi hotspot so the box can connect to it, and there you go you can navigate with real time info using the application of your choice, google map or waze.Maybe this works with you aftermarket unit.

You can only use wifi hot spot or carplay and not both. Thats how these head units work.

Does the vehicle still tells you to put up the windows when rain falls? (Since the upgrade)

I like that these aftermarket screens are big, but it doesn't mean anything if the unit is not user-friendly and is laggy in touch response.

What was your reason for re-installing the factory unit?? Is this Roadanvi not a good unit?
