Michael Haentjes was born in 1956. He is the Founder of Edel, a German stock corporation based in Hamburg. Edel is a key player in the European Music and Book Publishing business. A large portion of Edel’s sales is achieved by digital distribution, i.e. downloads and streaming. Edel also runs services companies in the field of disc manufacturing, printing and logistics.
