A beautiful song first heard on tv around 1996 when he did the video with Kathy Mattea, the video of the two families in Dunkeld on the banks of the river with the bridge in the background totally inspired me to visit and stay in Dunkeld.

Best of luck to Scotland in their independence vote next week. Much better to build & determine your own future than be shackled to a posh boy London elite who care little for ordinary Scots. You're a proud nation Scotland, make the break. Ireland is with you.

Still, one of the most lovely songs ever written by one of the best voices that we have been blessed to have in our era.  And if Scotland wants independence and her people believe it is for the best and for the betterment of the future - then I wish it for her! Long live Scotland and the Scots!!
